I wish TNA was like this still now. They still have good intentions but they are starting to have tunnel vision towards the main event. The tag division is slowly losing steam, the X-Division is dead, and the Main Event Mafia somehow is still going.

As a 3 year fan I can say this match was one of my favourite moments.

How are they losing sight? The main event scene is more wide open now than it has been in the last three years. You've got Joe, AJ, Jarrett, Sting, Angle, Daniels, Foley, Booker. The tag team division too is picking up steam following the tournament, and the x-division is getting a King of the mountain match. The Main Event Mafia is one of TNA's strongest rating draws.

I would eventually like to see AMW back as well I am enjoying Beer Money as a tag team, but I just don't see them as a long term team. I still think Robert Roode has the potential to be an upper card guy. If you have a guy with that potential you have to eventually exploit it.

I am not sure about Storm in the upper card. He has great charisma, but he is more of a midcard guy as a singles worker. Both he and Harris are that way. TNA doesn't really have an effective mid card other than the tag ranks. So what better way to feature Storm than to reunite him eventually with his old partner if he can get back in shape?

Ok, here's what happened to WCW. Ratings started to dip after a while, but were still good enough to keep major sponsors on board. WCW was a subsidiary of AOL/TW. AOL/TW had started to lose a lot of money, and decided to start selling off what they though was "dead weight". WCW, according to a lot of people that were there during that time (Bischoff, Nash, etc..), was still profitable, but AOL "supposedly" thought they were dead weight and put them up for sale. Vince bought them, end of story.

Ratings drop was due to a combo of not pushing or creating new stars (Goldberg is the exception), bad\tasteless storylines, censoring by AOL, and backstage politics causing the shows to be put together at the last minute, losing a little bit of the old flavor they had. Also, WWF was doing phenomenal business at the time and had a great program, WCW just couldn't beat them. RAW and Nitro couldn't both pull high 6's in the ratings. Someone had to be second. But 4's and 5's aren't bad ratings.

yes TNA did come out with impact before SVR 09 but i was disappointed with the TNA game because they didi take advantage of the fact that it was video game and try to put all of their matches in the game that makes TNA different than WWE in my opinion they should have put in the monsters ball match, the 10,000 thumbtack match, king of the mountain match and any other match i have not mentioned that was not in the game but with svr09 they took advantage and put just about every match they have
