How wonderful. I love Ella. Got a chance to see this legend in the early 80's at the Jazz Concert in my town. She was so gracious she did loads of encores....had on an electric blue dress...like an angle. She had glaucoma and wasn't supposed to be in the lights as long. What a lady, what a singer, what a woman. Ella forever. RIP

it doesn't get much better than this. ella and duke, with ella's voice pure and melodic. a wonderful recording. threre is a lack of material from this 'ella period' on youtube. most people opt for videos of her later years where the voice is tired and frail. more like this please.
