Not once did they describe the method of it's production, only it's effects. They're just showing us the principles behind the device.

You see, the problem with insurgents is that they hide in the civilian population - if you're fighting a larger more powerful enemy you'd prefer to go unseen as much as possible. An insurgency is meant to last for years upon years. The only way for the military to "handle" the insurgents would be to wipe out/annihilate the countries in question.

His administration had such reckless disregard for American and International law and subverted the democratic process to the point where he acted with impunity leaving us in our current state. They just need to speak up before something bad happens rather than after it happens. People are too complacent. They need to be slapped in the face before they realize what's happening. @perfectimbalance They never used them in combat (at least nothing of significance), and while they developed the basic concept of the thermobaric weapon, the US (and several other countries, notably Russia) have developed the technology even further using the same basic principal but increasing it's effectiveness.
