  • ...Dottie sounds a~bit like Sarah Vaughn in the first few notes here...very lovely..Dottie is so underrated...to bad...she was one of the best...!

  • Dottie's last solo top 40 hit. Made #40 in Billboard, 7-30-83. God bless! RIP, Miss Dottie!

  • My God, Look at this face and listen to this voice. Enough said. Love ya.

  • "I still hear the music, but now you're gone"...Dottie, like so many great artists, left too soon but still remains one of the queens of country even today. Thanks for posting this. BklynBoy

  • I can't believe I've never heard this song before, it's wonderful. Wonder if the songwriter had Cain's Ballroom in mind, Bob Wills headlining......

  • Great song from my all time favorite. Do you have another of her wonderful songs you could post. It's called "Come See Me and Come Lonely" Thanks

  • I've always loved this song, sadly Dottie's last major country hit in 1983 and barely making the top 40. It deserved to be much bigger - like the lady, it's a classic.

  • ...in 1983 the music industry had decided to promote acts like reba mcintire......to bad...!

  • this had to be the 70s, with the farrah like hair

  • Thank you for posting this song. I've been trying to find it for years.

  • Your very welcome.

  • A tear already. I'm a Tulsan and think of this when I think of home.

  • Many Thanks Brian, Laura
