The issue with this "reveal" is that when Keith Barry does his spike trick he keeps the blindfold on after the participant mixes them for the last time and throughout the crushing of the cups.

So he'd have quite some trouble seeing where the fishing line is.

first of all thats not even a trick. it's just out of luck. the only damn reason I pressed this video is because I thought he was going to put his hand on the cup with the knife and not be injured. a fricken two year old can do this. and FYI, whoever the magician is, it doesn't make you any cooler to wear that cheap ugly mask that you stole from a kid.
