@MWDeadline Its pretty easy just get some dirt put it underground and then put a tree sapling on it...they drop from trees if you gut some branches...for farming you need a scythe to till some dirt then you put seeds on it...

@DKC60628 I actually prefer diamond tools over iron tools because while iron is much, much more common, Diamond lasts much longer.

The biggest reason, however, is that I need my iron for Minecarts, Iron doors, tracks, buckets... Whereas the only thing you can craft with diamond so far aside form armour / tools is a jukebox. So while diamond is rarer, I find Iron to be much more valuable.

I use stone picsk for everythign I can though. No senes wasting diamond on a tunnel that will be all stone.

@MWDeadline I usually just use a cheap (you can get 4-8 gigabyte ones these days for 20-30 € or dollar or whatever you use) USB flash drive to store my important data so when I format the hard drive I get to clear out the unwanted stuff and keep the important stuff :)

@RidesTheBeast I made this when he first implemented doors and buckets, so long before minecarts, iron doors, red stone, boats, and some other stuff. I don't even think he had ladders at that point. Anyway, I have been working on a new one and it is much nicer, but I wouldn't make a video until it was finished.

@ThePrimeIntellect You just need to put a lot of torches around it. Any light source works the same, whether it be the sun or fire. Just make sure you plant the tree on dirt. It will take longer underground because it has a limited source of light as opposed to being outside.

@ThePrimeIntellect It depends on how many torches you have. I usually use 4, and they have taken anywhere from 4-5 days up to a week and a half. Also, it's important that they have enough space, otherwise they won't grow.

@DKC60628 I have 8 torches all in the adjacent spaces around it. The height of the room is 6 blocks, and the nearest block is 5 blocks away, and it's been a reeeally long time. Oh, I have running water near it, too.

@Stenodyon Waterfalls are a good idea. I could possibly dig an opening on a wall in the back, but I will keep this idea for a later date, because it won't be long before the save will be gone :P

I've a big castle surrounded by walls (and that's really huge, there's place for building a big town inside) and I don't want to lose it since it took me 6 real days do complete. Anyway if there's no converters at all I think I'll try do make one myself.
