Thanks for sharing these ideas on Massive Open Courses. I like the implications of the ideas for organizational change/transformation, and giving room for reflection within organizations.
I definitely buy your premise that it is "the pressure" that will win over others to use and develop in the use of social media. Like the old adage, "necessity if the mother of all invention". On the other hand, I REALLY think that those building the tools need to tone it down and make it much more simple. Part of simple being how to connect it to the old, so the jump isn't so big. There are very few developers really noting this and thinking about this - they are computercentric .
@esmequnhua i'm not 100% sure anymore. it was meant to imply stagnation... but the presentation has morphed so much in the last few weeks that i can't remember. New version will be going up in the next couple of days.
@thestaticfrost thanks Mark. I'm sensing the same tensions I think. I'll work on pulling the points together, I think skipping the introduction would do a great deal for that :)
