i haven't been inside a comic book store in over 15 years (or purchased a comic book period), but i will be buying this. i did an internet search for the comic book store i used to frequent to buy all of the image classics, and surprisingly, its still open. its a little over an hour away now, but i will be driving there wednesday to pick it up. its gonna bring back so many good memories.

I was SO there when Image was born, in awe of my personal pantheon of art gods and in my mid teens when the youngbloods blazed their own indie trail. Luke+Chase fantastic review: did you guys study semiotics!? It is exactly what I liked & still do. Long live the SPLASH PAGE! That imagination leapt off the page into a whole new company where artists could be businessmen!? It was like witnessing Elvis-Beatles-Rolling Stones-Hendrix-Nirvana-Janes Addiction ComixPaloozaStock. YES, I was there.

These comics look beautiful. Though I have read very few Image comics, I'll hopefully pick this up if it's ever released in Trade Paperback form :)
