  • Dude needs to learn what supersonic is and sounds like... Wasn't even close. Pussy.....

  • not even close !

  • Sorry, I can't believe I posted that 10 hours ago. I meant "Mach point-nine-something", not "Mach nine-point-something".

  • Fairly high subsonic pass (Mach nine-point-something), not supersonic.

  • Sad when you have to lie to gain view stats...133,000 views and only 16 likes says it all...

  • @Mavsnation24

Aww... don't be a dick man!

  • commenters are on crack

  • NOT SUPERSONIC, IDIOT!

  • Wow...that was AWESOME....great video...most don't have REAL videos of a jet breaking the sound barrier...thanks for posting!!!

  • @bsullivan161 Did not break the sound barrier

  • Yeah, always reseach your material!

  • You would only hear the boom after it passes followed by the sound of the plane. like its busting out of something.

  • THAT WAS SUB SONIC!!!! WHERE WAS THE BOOM!?!?! you need the boom!

  • vapor clouds are not caused when going past the sound barrier. They are caused by compressing moisture. Indy cars do it a lot. Also it is illegal to break the sound barrier over populated areas.

  • Retard!

  • I didn't see anyone crap their pants or bleeding from the nose so it's obvious it was sub-sonic but nice vid all the same.

  • If it had actually broken the sound barrier there would have been a sonic boom. Sub sonic only.

  • IM guessing they went slow to scope the bikini babes on the beach

  • Those seagulls are all like: AWW SHEIT

  • threre was no sonic bomb

  • @lawrence55stretton And you kant spell.

  • @ben5447 And you CAN'T spell.

If your going to criticise someone for their spelling, at least get you own spelling correct.

  • @srhe2009 Get a haircut, fatboy!

  • If it was going faster than the speed of sound you wouldn't have been able to hear it before it flew past, dumb shit

  • it did not break the sound barrier stupid.

  • Dumb Fuck.

  • Next time, take the camera away from Michael J. Fox when you want to film something.

  • no i did not see " that shit" because jerking while trying to film doesnt work for you apparently.

  • lol The f16 sound barrier in the suggestions is better

  • F/A-18 if anyones wondering

  • Not a sound barrier break, near it but not a break.

  • I didn't see no shit, but I did see a jet wizz by.

  • No sonic boom=not breaking the sound barrier. I used to live in Colorado Springs and they fly A LOT there. Scared the shit out of me the first time, then it became a normal thing over time.

  • They are not allowed to go super sonic that low or close to residential buildings. You would of heard a very loud boom.

  • Not even close to the sound barrier. Stupid civilians.

  • i bet hes late for work

  • If that jet broke the sound barrier everybody on the beach would have let out some sort of scream or been knocked to the ground and been deaf for a few hours. A sonic boom is like an invisible explosion, they're known to shatter glass and knock houses off their foundation.

  • If he went supersonic you would have heard a boom. plus they don't go supersonic that close

  • Yea he's breaking the sound barrier, that's why you can hear it coming.

  • Warning: No sound barrier was broken during the filming of this video.

  • yes i fail at typing

  • and to all of you that say it is illegal it is!!!!!

if i owned an f-18 i sould break the sound barrier whenever i want to, wherever i want

all i need is atc clearence

  • although it could have, this plane did not break the sound barrier, you would have heard a sudden crack noise after the jet passed and heard nothing before that

  • Not the sound barrier just fly by

  • thats just the engine sound idiot

  • had that AC gone mach, you would still be asking , huh? Because you would here nothing but a ringing in your ear.

  • Breaking sound barrier = sonic boom... no boom.

  • sounds more like a fly-by you nub.

  • It's strictly prohibited to fly at supersonic speeds so close to the ground on populated places. This is why the Concorde couldn't reach Mach 1 until it was at least FL330 above the Atlantic.

  • plane did not break the sound barrier, if it had the sonic boom would have blown out everyone's ear drums and broken every window within a mile

  • i hate misleading videos of 'tube

  • Jets are not allowed to break the sound barrier that close to a population center.

  • no boom = no sound barrier broken. all he did was accumulate vapor

  • You have obviously never heard a sonic boom. that was subsonic

  • @teddysuastegui you cant see thats a F/A18 Super Hornet out of Norfolk

  • "Breaks sound barrier"-- where and when? It's not on this vid.

  • This plane was flying at sub-sonic speeds. If it were flying supersonic you wouldn't be able to hear it until AFTER it passed you, AND there would be a tremendous 'boom' just before the sound of the aircraft was heard. Neither of these things happened. Next time, reseach your material BEFORE you post, okay?

  • @StudebakerHawk57 its funny how ur taking this seriously when nobody gives a fuck. People can post anything they want on utube, if u think youtube provides reliable information then you sir are a retard.

  • @FearfulSkyX Having fun posting drivel from the basement of your mom’s home, dick weed? Why don't you get off your fat ass and get a job? I mean, you're thirty-two years old and it's about time you cut the damn apron strings and get your own apartment, ya think? Loser! (Retard indeed.)

  • @StudebakerHawk57 funny how you think im in a basement while im on the 42nd floor. I have great job and im not 32, im 17. Have a great education and a great future ahead of me. You are the retard, as you assume that i am fat, old and a loser. I highly suggest you fuck off as you are a "Dick Weed". And yes, your pathetic assumptions and witty comments really make my day worthwhile.

  • @StudebakerHawk57 oh and this is not worthless drivel, i was telling you that nobody cares, go teach a aviation school or something, but on the internet nobody gives a fuck. Maybe the internet is too harsh for you? Drag your sorry ass into the lonely dark corner and stay there. Gtfo you nub.

  • @FearfulSkyX Thanks for taking the bait and telling me AND THE WORLD how old you really are (an easy assumption, by the way, when one reads your childish comments). BTW, little boy, regardless of what you think, you have no future whatsoever; I predict when you hit thirty-two, you'll STILL be living with mom. LOL!

  • if he was going faster than the speed of sound. the pilot would have probably been in a lot of trouble for doing so over a public beach.. so this isn't breaking the sound barrier..

    but still impressive..

  • if you wanna see video of a plane ACTUALLY breaking the sound barrier. just search "f-14 sonic boom". it should be the first video that comes up..

  • If he was supersonic you would have heard a loud BANG!

  • if it broke the sound barrier at that low level..your ear drums would probably be bleeding..and no..that did not break the soundbarrier

  • @Kyddthunder nah because it's just a sonic boom. trust me, there have been closer jets that break the sound barrier and everybody's cheering, not bleeding from the ears.

  • @Kyddthunder but agreed, this one didn't break the sound barrier

  • you fail at holding camera

  • Nah, that never broke the sound barrier. Search for "Concorde breaks the Sound Barrier" on You Tube; the one that shows the aircraft being filmed as it crosses the ocean - that is what breaking the sound barrier sounds like. Having worked on aircraft carriers I can say with certain that this one did not break the sound barrier.

  • i heard a jet go through the sound barrier once and believe me this one didnt

  • If u don't hear a boom dip shit it's not breaking the sound barrier.

  • Pilot: "u mad bro?"

  • not even close to the sound barrier

  • These jets are equipped with a switch on the instrument panel labeled "Break Sound Barrier - On/Off" The switch was in the Off position during this pass. The switch is located next to a large red push button switch marked "Get my ass outta here quick". Depressing the button blows the canopy and detonates a charge located directly beneath the pilot's brass balls causing the pilot to be tossed gracefully into the 600 MPH + airstream!

  • NO BOOM!!!! no sound barrier broken, live 3 miles from NAS..Oceana.... i know!

  • not supersonic.. no sonic boom heard, and thus totally crap. must be at least jesusonic for me to be interested (Mach 50+).

  • totally sub-sonic. he might have been doing 600 mph. at best.

  • @curtispetit3 Agreed sound and plane at the same time. That's not supersonic. Anyway anywhere in the world you cannot go supersonic over populated areas

  • @curtispetit3 yeah, it would be a painful experience to hear the boom from that close...

  • No sonic boom.

  • thats not the sound barrier . everyones eardrums would burst if it did

  • The Sound Barrier Is 768.2 MPH At Sea Level. This Plane Was Going About 690 MPH. Pretty Damn Close, Though.

  • @emersondavis cause you can tell that from a video off a cell phone... right..

  • @mitchploeg Yes I Can. What I Did Is Judge The Speed Visually, Then I Listened To The Sound Of The Engine(s) And Determined That They Were Not At Full Throttle. They Were About 3 Notches Lower Than Full Throttle. The Only Way To Break The Sound Barrier In That Particular Aircraft Is To Be At Full Throttle For Around 25-30 Seconds.

  • it's always cool at OC, MD, to watch the fighters fly by from Dover AFB, or Oceana in VA Beach, I love a good sonic boom :-)

  • I missed the sonic bomb? Oh yeah, that's because the jet never broke the sound barrier in this video. Vapor cloud doesn't mean it broke the sound barrier.

  • the jet did not Jet breaks sound barrier

  • That wasn't beaking the sound barrier.

  • Virginia Beach?

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 ocean city, md

  • @Mavsnation24 what hotel were you near? i stay at the carousel every summer

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 lol that was my first guess, all those jets from oceana

  • This plane did not break the sound barrier. What a waste of my time.

  • stop wasting my like you shit head cunt...

  • Errrr...no cone...no sonic boom=no breaking of sound barrier. This is just a flyby.

  • If the sound barrier was broken your phone woulda broke in half and screamed

  • There was no sound barrier broken or you would have heard it trust me.

  • Next time it pass, I'll be packing my Stinger! In fact, 12 of them!

  • no BUM! No sound barrier! :)

  • filmed with a potato

  • @almostalways803 haa haaa

  • That was not a jet breaking the sound barrier. Good video though.

  • @Mavsnation24 Watch Out, We Got A Badass Over Here!

  • it was just under the sound barrier, you wouldn't have heard the plane at all on the approach if it was faster than the speed of sound. great vid tho.

  • It's not sonic boom

  • @Mavsnation24

    that would be hilarious

  • @teddysuastegui its a jet...

  • @Mavsnation24 Thanks for the video dog.

  • Bs that wasn't breaking it. Far from it

  • your a noob. The Only sonic boom allowed over US soil is Edwards Air force base. That was barely .5 Mach

  • @DadDrews no because the space shuttle goes threw the sound barrier many times as it goes into space and thats above land and not above Edwards airforce base, used to be plane could go super sonic anywhere, my dad remembers F-4's going by super sonic when he was sitting out in the field on the tractor, it scared the living shit outa him he thot he was being bombed, my grandpa and him also remember hords of P-51's and P-47s flying over

  • @mountaincat1000 Only Sonic booms allowed at Airshowas people. Jesus christ. This was an airshow video I replied to. Obviously there are occasions when military aircraft need to go super sonic.

  • @DadDrews I never heard of jets breaking the sound barrier during airshows. I have been to many airshows. They will do low and fast flybys, but nothing beyond that. The pilots are only allowed to break the sound barrier over the ocean or if given permission to do so by the local area and going through the proper chain of command.

  • @DadDrews We did have a pilot break the sound barrier with an F-15E flying over Seymour Johnson and the town of Goldsboro, NC. It was about 9 pm, the sound was so loud it shook everything, and I thought a semi-truck crashed into my apartment building. I had no idea what it was till the next day at work. found out that pilot was in serious trouble for that.

  • @mountaincat1000 I was referring specifically to air show fly bys. You are wrong. The space shuttle did NOT fly into space over land. It launched from Cape Canaveral (beachfront)and it was soley over the ocean on its ascent to space.

  • @DadDrews Sorry but you are incorrect. There was an F18 going supersonic near my area just last year to intercept a jet going to Detroit that had lost communication with the ground. The reason it's known is because so many people heard it and thought something on the ground had exploded.

  • hahaha YOU SEE THAT SHIT!?

  • you may hear sonic boom soon in your head ......fix the name !

  • I heard the Boom... Sike come bro if you put something for the title of the video, it better be in the video.

  • Learn what a sonic boom sounds like dude.

  • the sound barrier was never broken here..

  • @Mavsnation24 maybe he ment "Bitches" xD

  • @stefsopinion94 hahah nice nice.. but lil fail np.. can happen. xD

  • @Mavsnation24: *the men sleeping on the beech ......... fag
