It was also the name of the ancient wizard who taught the magic word to Billy Batson. And it turns out it will turn ANYONE who says it into a super powered being...you would think that word of this magic word would have spread pretty quickly through the underground...
It's "azam", not Rann. You'd think the fact that they were splashing fricking Captain Marvel all over the place would have clued you in. AZAM, not RANN.
Well, they sort of have a flash "video" up on their official site. But Rand did send me an e-mail saying he liked the video, so I got that going for me. :)
Thor's hammer is made out of Uru metal. When Donald Blake first turned into Thor the hammer became a cane while he was in his secret ID. hence uru metal cane.
i love ookla the mok.

Forgot to mention this last time I watched this video, but I love that you used Martian Manhunter for the "powerful alien race" line.
Also the Kitty Pryde bit. xD
And the panels from "Rain of the Supermen," hehe. (By the way, people reading this: that is not a typo.)

The Uru Cane is what Thor's hammer becomes when he turns back into Don Blake. He uses it as a walking stick.

Now, Now...let's not make fun of Daredevil's tights....he is, after all, blind...designing a costume is tough when you can't tell yellow from red.

That was frickin' AWESOME. The whol "Not Doctor Orpheus" and Kevin Sorbo/Heracules was the best. I nearly feel over laughing.

"Never memorized what a Rann was but I still fight evil in my Red Pajamas" refers to Adam Strange if I'm not mistaken.

Man, this is awesome. Loved the "Now, what does 'a' stand for?" moments for Captain Marvel.

Great! I just wish you'd done an inset of Cerebus when Capt. Marvel says "Aardvark?" But, hey, hindsight and all that....

You see, I don't know if this song ever got an "official" video. If not, they can quit looking. This is it.
Five, and I don't do that often.

I am fairly confident the magic Uru cane is a reference to Ibis the Invincible. I feel like I shouldn't know that, but I do.
jeffstormer 4 years ago
I was figuring on it being Donald Blake's cane (Thor's original alter ego).
egosomnio 4 years ago
That's how I interpreted it, which is why I have the "WTF is an Uru Cane?" over a picture of Thor.
