@aradioactivedonut it's a pity Joss and the Whedon team shot that movement down. tbh, he comes across as a really bitter, pessimistic defeatist alot of the time. I know he's technically being realistic and trying not to let us raise our hopes to have them crushed harder when it all falls through, but I don't think he actually gave us a chance to actually prove ourselves.

Alan had just made a joke about wearing protection. Nathan's reply about armor and a 'plus-2 mace', while indicating a kind of protection, also references role-playing games, like Dungeons & Dragons.
