  • @ChaosRebel6 Press PrtScn on keyboard, open paint, paste, print.

  • @Castaril This is true. By printed Print Screen you can save the screen image to your computer using "Paint" by opening paint and then pasting and saving the screen image. :-) Thanks for sharing. :-)

  • @ChaosRebel6 You can take a screen shot by pressing PrtScrn on your computer. Then open "Paint" a program on most PC's. Then Cntrl V to paste and save as an image. :-)

  • Brilliant hair cut 10/10

  • @LiamB120 Thank you! That's definitely two thumbs up! 10 out of 10! Thank you for commenting. :-)

  • @LiamB120 Thank you! That's definitely two thumbs up! 10 out of 10! Thank you for commenting. :-)

  • Can you do a video showing difference between point cutting, notching, slithering, etc.? Like what difference it makes to how the haircut turns out.

  • @divaexpatriate That would be most ideal! I would love to create a video about each different type of CUT that the scissors and razor are capable of making. However, the HAIR texture chosen ADDS TO THE RESULTS. The same cut with a scissor - point cut into the length/layer on wavy hair that is very fine, would appear very different than someone with poker straight thicker hair. Always think of HOW the hair looks and HOW it will LOOK and FALL AFTER THE TECHNICAL CUT HAS BEEN MADE. :-)

  • @MyBellaColorStudio

it would be great if you could do a tortorial along with the video to expain what you are do and why

  • @kentia5550 You are onto me now!! Yes! I agree! And the plans are in the making for more videos and videos in which I speak! Thank you for your interest! And thank you for commenting. Happy Hair! And Happy New Year!

  • HOT!

  • @Mrguitarjoy09 Thank you! She looked hot and loved her pixie! ;-)

  • You are amazing!!!! I have think course hair and in all my years I have never got a haircut I've liked. I even tell the stylist to cut it anyway she thinks would look good on me....but I just get the same ol' cut. If I didn't live in Minnesota, I would call you!! Blessings!

  • @snowi81 You make me want to go to Minnesota and cut some hair!! :-) Perhaps it is your texture that throws off Stylists and makes your hair always appear the same. Perhaps a change of texture and or color would help? Perhaps changing lengths? Such as growing out the front and making the back shorter? Or vice versa. :-) If you are ever in Cali let me know! And if you feel really stuck - message me and we can arrange for you to send me a picture of your hair and I can consult you. :-) Smiles!

  • wow you are sooo talented! loveeee this haircut where im from cannot find anyone that really knows how to do a good razor cut......my daughter is currently in cosmetology school, her dream is to eventually move to Cali and open a salon be great if she could one day work for you and learn from you!!!

  • @Quinnie65 Thank you! And please have your daughter contact me via message. I am happy to help. And, perhaps we really can arrange some time for her to come and train with me. :-)

  • I WANT THIS HAIRCUT!!!!! pLEEEassseeee

  • @amih0726 Come on in to the My Bella Color Studio and I will be more than happy to create a custom Pixie hair cut for you too!!! :-) Thank you for commenting. Happy you love the Pixie I created. :-)

  • @peacheylansing1 omg I didn't know u could get straight perms? aweesoneee:) but are the chemicals as bad as the regular curly perm?

  • @YenusV A regular perm solution can be used to straighten the hair. BUT, this day and age, we have many alternative options - some straightening/smoothing systems that do not use chemicals that are found in straighteners. The Brazilian Keratin Treatment is one treatment that uses protein to alter the texture without harsh chemicals. IF your hair is short, then perhaps the use of a regular perm solution will be fine. It is not damaging when done correctly.

  • This is the cutest haircut ever,,and I so enjoyed watching you cut it..You are so talented..You go girl!!

  • @rexmikey1 Thank you! I'm happy you like my hair cutting work. :-)

  • I have naturally curly hair and have a pixie. The Brazilian Blowout makes it very easy! Definitely get it!

  • Love it! Your model is very cute too :)

  • @lovetilyouhate Thank you!!

  • I want a pixie haircut but my hair is curly so I'm not sure if it is going to look good on me :(

  • @dorta26 Have you considered having your hair either chemically straightened or the Brazilian Keratin Treatment placed on it to smooth out your curls? These are options for curly heads of hair that love a pixie. :-)

  • @dorta26 get a straight perm :)

  • CAN U PLEASE SHOW ONE OF VICTORIA BECKHAM'S ASYMMETRICAL BOBCUT? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE. lol thank you.

  • @AidaRosariox I will do my best to find a model whose hair I can cut into the Victoria Beckham asymmetrical cut. I love that cut and would absolutely love making a video for you!! :-) Thanks for commenting! ... I really need to add a new video soon. BUT - Good News is that I have been redecorating the Studio so I can make even better videos!! Hang in there. :-) !!

  • I remember getting pixies as a girl( circa 1970's) And with my red hair it made my head look like a match tip. You put a classy edge to a vintage style! Very nice! I love to do razor cutting. I always like the result. And so do clients. Prefer that over using shears.

  • Great highlights and I love using the razor when cutting, gives so much texture!

  • oh my god. i want this cut :[ and i cant do it myself.

  • I am a hairstylist as well and love watching your videos!!...I love to razor cut also and was wondering what brand razor you are using...I love it!...Thanks!!

  • @VIVIAN1965 Thank you for commenting. Great to have Hair Stylists here!! Please write me a message regarding the razor. I'm happy to help. :-)

  • I love this, it looks really nice. I wish you were in the UK!

  • @millie1986 Great! Thank you! I wish I were in the UK too!! :-)

  • You're so meticulous with that razor! Awesome job! It looks beautiful!

  • @OrngePeel Thank you. I love using the razor! Soon to upload another video where I use the razor on a Rocker Chick Shag hair cut! :-) More to see soon!!

  • @shorthairissexy I know you love the short hair! And yes, this model could have gone shorter, but, upon her request we tailored her existing lengths into this shape. Since the cut, I believe she has continued to grow out her hair. No worries tho... I can always find models who would love phenomenal in short hair!

  • @MyBellaColorStudio You do excellent work Sharon, but I think this model is very attractive and could easily pull off a very short crop, but it's her hair and her choice.

I do look forward to seeing some long to short makeovers from you! ;-)

  • i am glad you like this one. would you like me to send videos like this too? i know its not a long to short haircut, though. btw, i just chatted with this stylist yesterday. her name is sharon. she told me she has been really busy and is trying to make time to make another video.

  • @8051890911 hopefully she'll upload a long haired beauty getting a serious short haircut. a makeover video showing the difference -a before from mundane looking long hair to a stunning short bob or crop would be definitely welcomed and it might encourage a few more ladies with long manes who have been hesitant to go short to change their minds-we hope! ;-)

I'm looking for a real short hair revolution for the ladies. how about it Sharon? ;-D

  • i would like to see her make a video like that too. her next video might be something else though.

  • @8051890911 Yep. :-)

  • @shorthairissexy Go team Short Hair Lovers!! I will do my best to find a long hair model who is ready for a hot new hair cut! And, yes, we shall see about starting a new Short Hair Revolution!! :-) Hats off to the Short Hair Lovers! :-)

  • @8051890911 All true. :-) Soon to be importing, editing and uploading more video. But, Mr 8051890911, the next videos are not of short hair. lol... so hang in there. :-)

  • @MyBellaColorStudio and how come?

short hair is what's happening! have you seen Emma Watson's

    new pixie crop?

  • @8051890911 ... still working many hours behind the hair chair... capturing video as I am able... and, I am streamlining my computers so that I will be able to video, edit and upload more proficiently. It is my goal to be able to capture video each day, and have videos uploaded by that afternoon!! Imagine the possibilities?!! (btw - I am migrating from PC to Mac to make this possible.) :-) Always appreciate your continued support. :-)

  • WOW!! your work is awesome, and you make it look so easy... I'm still young in the industry and love just learning and watching creative techniques like yours. Like the shears they look petite and light weight, what kind are they?

  • @born2ruleandreign77 Thank you for commenting! Happy you enjoy my videos and are inspired! I believe I make it look so easy because of how I allow the hair to BE and DO what it will do naturally. So, by allowing the growth patterns and textures to behave naturally, I "simply" place the cut into the hair - free handed. Give it a go! And let me know how it feels to trust yourself free handed! The shears are Yasaka's 3.5 inch.

  • So very awesome..even for a 60 yr. old..I have tried and tried to tell my hair stylist how I want a spike or pixie, but yet have been able to accomplish..Now I have the actual picture and way it is done!! THANKS!

  • @ridge556 You are welcome! So happy you have found the hair cut on video that you have wanted! Do let me know how your hair looks with the new spiked pixie cut!

  • I have a square face shape, I'm about 16, and my hair is fine but I have quite a but of it, it's also wavy, but I normally straighten it. My hair is currently cut into an inverted bob and the longest part is about mid-neck. I'm wanting a change, would a pixie cut look good on me? Or should I try something else?

  • @ReJeCtEd37 If you are able to work with your hair shorter, then yes, it could work well. Just have your Stylist leave enough length so you can work with your wave and use your flat iron. With the correct angles you can soften the square face... such as having slices of hair, angled down to accentuate your cheek bones. A diagonal bang will help soften too! Have fun! And remember, hair grows, and since it's summer now, you could have a great short hair cut and grow it out for winter! :-)

  • omg!,i love this hairr cut!,i really really want one just like this?.im 15 and my hair is dyed black, but i might put some highlights in it,,and its wavy, and its already sholder length..,so would this hair cut look nice on me? and look on me how hers looks?

  • @sheilajanae123 Hello! It's hard to say whether or not it would look good on you when I can't see you. :-) Combining highlights with the black you have may add some cool looking contrast, and show off the shorter layers. With the right Stylist, I am sure you can achieve a look similar that you will love!

  • I LOVED this haircut. I am in beauty school and have a lot of people request pixie cuts. I am going to use some of your techniques. Thanks for this video.

  • @candacepnally I love that I can help other Cosmetologists how to do custom hair cutting work. Do let me know how your razor and scissor skills come along... as well as your Pixie Hair Cut skills too! Keep in mind that when you create a custom cut you must look at the natural growth patterns, the texture, and allow the hair to move as it will on it's own as you cut the hair. Meaning do not pull too tight against the growth patterns... allow the hair to move INTO the shape you create. :-)

  • Great technique wit the hair razor... really enjoyed this video :)

  • @HelloSexKitten Thank you! ;-)

  • I have always wanted a pixie like jamie lee curtis style, but I don't think it will work for my hair type, any help??? thanksss.

  • @livewithlove2893 More info please... your hair texture, and age? I'll be happy to assist you into having the hair cut you want! :-)

  • @MyBellaColorStudio well I am 17, my hair is already short but I wanted to give it some style with a pixie cut. my hair is really thick when its long and its wavy like. hope that helpss.

  • nothing special

  • @sergiosergio1234567 Well okee dokee. :-) Thanks for commenting.

  • koool

  • her hair really looks great but the only criticism I have (and even that can be taken with a grain of salt, I'm very nice not trying to be mean in anyway or disrespectful at all) is this method seems like it would take forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jorybox219 Right on. :-) No worries at all. It could take forever, yet, if the hair is prepared properly, and the comb sectioning and hand choosing precise, and the razor sharp, then, it can flow so well, more naturally then scissor slicing. Yet, this custom artistry can be priced higher due to the amount of detail taken. Her hair does look great. And, do keep in mind that the color was placed intentionally, prior to the cut, for this cut. That helps. But, I had to pull through her thick hair.

  • That is SO freakin' cute. She looks happy. She should be.

  • GMARKLGR I want the hair. So badly. It's beautiful.

I'm just so afraid to get a crappy stylist Dx

  • @TheWeirdPlant I suggest that you find someone in your area that has an awesome shorter hair cut and ask who did it. And, then, get a consultation with the Stylist recommended. And then, ask the Stylist if he/she will watch this video. That way... you at least are on the right road to getting a short cut like this razored and scissor sliced Pixie. Thank you for writing. :-)

  • @MyBellaColorStudio Good idea! Thanks (:

  • @TheWeirdPlant You are welcome. :-)

  • oh that is really adorable... I love how she kind of just took little pieces of hair and chopped them as she saw fit... 5 *****

  • omg its soo cute i luv this hair cut

  • Thank you! :-) This hair cut is adorable on her! Perfect texture, perfect look... cute little razored pixie. :-)

  • thats very sexy haircut for a cute lady

  • Yes it is indeed. :-)

  • One thing that I HATE about razor cuts is that they usually make hair look coarse and dry, even when it's soft and silky. Any suggestions?

  • Deep conditioning your hair, and using heat protectant. You can put conditioner in your hair for about an hour and apply heat to it with the conditioner still in it, then just wash it out with cold water, to help seal in the conditioner, then it should look healthier.

  • Oh my! A RAZOR used INCORRECTLY can make the hair look frizzy. That is for sure. BUT when used correctly, it creates custom hair shapes that shears alone can not do. Therefore, before a razor is used on the hair, the hair texture, styling skills and styling products, must be taken into account. When the hair is the right texture for using the razor, the results can be amazingly wonderful!

  • The ends of your hair can be point cut if the last razor cut gave you frizzies. A pomade can work wonders on ends that have been overly razored. But, if this is the case, then have your stylist point cut into the hair instead of using the razor on yours.

  • I LOVE it! I have a short cut, but can't seem to style it- can you give any suggestions?

  • If when the hair is cut short the hair is pulled away from the hair using a lot of strength, then the resulting short cut can be difficult to style because the hair buckles back towards the natural growth patterns. I suggest you let it grow, and then have your hair recut keeping the growth patterns and texture in mind. :-)

  • Lol, so cute. ive been tryin g to do my hair with a razor and its been coming out very good. so the razor is the way to go. ;]

  • The razor is a wonderful cutting and designing tool when it is used properly. Since you are getting good results, then I believe the razor's being used correctly on your hair. Yay for correctly handling the razor!

  • Love that haircut. You are amazing. I'm just starting out in the Biz and you inspire me to cut like this some day. Thanks for the videos.

  • Wonderful! So happy to inspire you! You are welcome for the videos. I only wish I had more time to edit and upload more videos faster! I have more to edit... and shall be adding more within the month. :-)

  • Beautiful Good work, She is very cute

  • Thank you. :-)

  • its cute good job

  • Thank you. :-)

  • wow you are amazing. i love your cuts and colors. very inspiring.

  • Thank you! Keep coming back for more!

  • I love your videos! Would you consider doing one without the soundtrack? I love the sound of scissors cutting hair. It is very relaxing to me. :)

  • Rock on BobCutFan! Thank you kindly again for your strong acknowledgments and for adding my videos to your playlists. :-) Can't wait to create MORE videos!! It's my goal to film everything I know. Gosh - got a year? tee hee

  • that haircut looks amazing on her. it suits her perfectly. keep up the good work Sharon. i cant wait to see more of your videos.

  • Thank you very much. I can't wait to do more videos!! I have one I need to edit... but am stuck behind the hair chair working my magic. But, hang in there... new videos are uploaded as soon as I can get them edited. :-)

  • Gorgeous haircut!

  • Thank you. :-)

  • Sharon thank you so much. Stunning cut and you make it look so easy. Did you by chance study at Pivot Point? Your approach is really similar! Thank you again, your videos are so insightful.

  • Thank you. :-) I was raised by a General Contractor, and grew up with Blue Prints on the kitchen table. Learned angles and dimensions when I was 6! Never studied at Pivot Point, but am certain that when it comes to understanding hair, texture, growth patterns and tools to sculpt the look, that all together, that alone makes for the right combo and achieve beautiful results. :-)

  • love it love it love love love!

  • Thank you thank you!! Smile. Smile. Smile. :-)

  • love it! The contrasting colors, the funky cut, and that crisp styling.

Sharon, the new red hair looks great on you!

  • The contrasting colors worked well with her thicker texture, and the placement of the razoe cuts were intentionally placed into those colors making the colors fall well into the cut. Happy you like the red on me. :-) I love it too. :-)

  • love it love the way the hair always turns out brilliant

  • Thank you! It was fun creating this color and cut for my model. :-)

  • That was a great finish and works so well with the highlights. Love the layers and movement in the hair. Thank you so much SharonS!

  • Thank you! The model has very thick hair, and the razor enabled me to achive lighter and softer looking pedals of layers into her hair. I followed the movement of her natural growth patterns so that the look will fall into place easily. You are welcome. Come back for more! :-)

  • Another great style Sharon!! I don't use my razor very often because I don't know the techniques to use with it. This video was wonderful!! Gave me lots of ideas!! You know, you should look into making a DVD of your cutting lessons! I would totally buy it!! lol But seriously... I have several new stylists at my salon and they could all benefit from watching your artistic cuts! If you do ever make a DVD for sale... please let us know!!! <3 Thanks again for teaching us!

  • Thank you for the awesome comment and strong acknowledgment of my work. The razor, once able to be handled well can basically replace the scissor slicing. If a solid blunt line or deep solid notches are desired, then the shears are best. :-) It is my intention to create an entire library of everything I know - from color to cutting and designing custom combos! Hang in there... All I want from Santa are more hours in each day! ;-)

  • Awesome! I'm hanging in there.... :)

  • i love it!

  • Thank you! :-)

  • I love her hairstyle. Awesome :D

  • Thank you. :-) It was fun to create!
