  • BEER MILE!!!!! fuck yeah! haha

  • WE DONT SAY ANY OF THIS SHIT

  • jealous of your Billy Mills poster

  • hahaha best :D

  • What was the second book you showed called? "Running"?

  • @RunKenzo "Daniels Running Formula" - one of the best training books ever (the cover is different now as that was a really old edition)

  • Way better than the last one. Favourite part was the reference to trolling on letsrun.

  • I love the 1600, 1609.344 quote. Its amazing how many people think 4 laps around a 400 meter track is a mile.

  • you forgot about the spooning...

  • @Intraphilosophia ha ha.you're right! how could I forget...

  • Pffft 1:57

  • @alexk722 it just sounded like a decent hs time. I actually have only split 1:59 (relay) but I am a slow as sh!t marathon runner.

  • @Vo2maxProductions really more commenting on how the barrier between fast and slow is generally five tenths before or after any given runner's PB.

  • @alexk722 ha ha very true!

  • where did you get that sweater? :D

  • @eladioXC TJmaxx I think. It might be an old J.Crew or some preppy sh!T like that.

  • Runner's World open in the next tab. :D

  • @KaitiyeBaby love it!

  • MUCH BETTER! It started getting a little less entertaining toward the end, but great touch with the "uhhhhh I think I just ____"

    7/10

  • @CISMD thanks man - glad you liked this one better!

  • what books were those! I own about 30 running books always love more!!!!!!!

  • @soundwave8842 best training book (IMO): "Daniels Running Formula"

best book for teamwork/cross country: "Running with the Buffaloes"

and to capture the essence of running/training after your dreams: "Once a Runner"

  • @Vo2maxProductions I can't believe you still are using the first edition of DRF.

  • @JPGarland read that shit when I was in middle school. Mind blowing at the time!

  • @Vo2maxProductions The second edition is so much better (even if Kennedy is better than Culpepper).

  • @JPGarland hmmm. I should probably check it out in that case as I'd hate to be outdated on these things. What are some of the big differences?

  • @Vo2maxProductions Oh you Cornell boys (I say noting that my niece graduated a few years back). I was kidding. I think the only difference is a slight adjustment in the easy/long run pace (and some add-on chapters). That still would be fodder for a couple of dozen pages on a LRC message board. We've had several debates during long runs about Daniels. One among us hates him after it was drilled into him in HS. We're lame, but we have spoken of your book too.

  • @JPGarland good to know. That book changed my view on training forever - and the VDOT table was what I based all my running goals on for different events. Thanks for the support and spreading the word about the book!

  • just wasted two minutes of my life

  • Love the Brooks-Hansons singlet in the background.

  • @runindie24 thats where I keep 'em!

  • haha! that's awesome. So true!

  • @arianahilborn hey thanks - and good work at the trials! you looked strong and fast in that video clip of the race.

  • love the vids, u and the hansons brooks team inspire me.

btw gj at the trials , whats next up for u sage?!

  • @aldrinsorianodotcom thanks! thats great to hear. We're taking some time off after the marathon. I'm thinking of moving up to a 50k or going back to the track for 5ks and 10ks in the spring (perhaps both!). We really appreciate the support! Run Happy.
