Who gives a fuck? No one likes races with all gt40s all topping 240. I stuck with the cobra jet engine that came with it and can hit 240. Something about changing engines on such a legend, even in a videogame, unsettles me. Same with the GNX. Takes a special kind of prick to put a corvette engine in one in my mind. I guess its becouse I know the history and respect the vehicles.

You can get 260-261mph (418-420kph) if you take rear wing off. But be careful though because near top speed it gets tail happy and taking the rear wing off is not advised for anything other than drag racing.

downforce doesnt add more speed. the spoiler adds drag on the car and reduces aerofynamics, which in turn slows the car down. down force just adds traction and stabillity.

there's no clutch function in forza 2, not that you can activate yourself anyway. but at a standstill, just hold down your handbrake button and you can rev the engine

actually.....if u own forza 2 try this.....take the 1966 gt40, tuned and all. make sure it can do at least 260mph. Put it up against a wall. open up the real time racing telemetry(down on the d pad) and use the right d pad arrow to go until u see the title: tires misc. look at the speed(under camber)..when u are giving it full gas up to 4th gear u will see that u are going well over 300mph.i found this out my self..my gt is VINCEMAN444 send me a friend request if u want to play forza.
