Just watched a PBS documentary on Gaye that brought me here:) Listening to the music from this era of my 'young life' sure takes me back to what seemed a much simpler time. I think I've heard my mother make this same statement about her yout?. Ah, well. Although in retrospect they may have seemed 'simple' they were of course ANYTHING but; much going on back then.

I certainly am not be condescending but rather found it funny that 'OUR' generation thought the same thing then I had to remind myself that the hippies of the 60's were also activists in this regard. The sad truth is that we've been dealing with these same issues for many, MANY years, not just recently. Things don't seem to be improving do they?
