How can i convert a mod into a tunable car into a SAMI file - like i just need to double click on it and it will pup-up if i want to install it?

I got my version of GTA SA from Direct2Drive and it is version 3.00, or atleast that's what is says on the pause menu.

Will the downgrade work on it? What is the Patch Downgrader for?

@Halothepro1 It will for you, but other players on the server will see the orgional vehicles or mods that they have installed

Any ideas? after when i install my car mod the game crash at half bar when loading. When i uinstall with Sami then the game works normally.

@michaelmyer1 Check your version. If you bought the game within the last year or 2, you will need to downgrade if you haven't already...

@seriousman99 Thanks but strange, when i run as adminstartor the game doesent crash. But however, my mods arent there!. i replaced something with the bike BMX cause i start with it on new game. But it was normal... Any ideas?

@michaelmyer1 ok dude, i had the same problem. To get mods back you either reinstall the game and i think you probably installed the mods before downgrading it, which may be causing the problem. Another option is that you install IMG Tool, which is highly risky and i don't recommend using it, since you can fuck up your GTA SA by doing any small modification! I would know since i fucked up and i ruined my gta sa but i was able to fix it. Good luck with whatever decision you decide to take.

The S.A.M.I installer thing lets u install other mods right ?? not just cars

@sunshineyop00 It only installs specific 'SAMI Scripts' That's what they're called... Hit em' up Google.

Umm, try right clicking the files, then select properties. Look within properties for something to do with Read me only and ou should be able to untick it. If this doesn't work, try running the patch, it's a alot easier but sometimes doesn't work.

@charg2456 Hey man, these 2 files will be within your GTA San Andreas directory. This is the default location:

C:drive\Programme files\Rockstar\GTA San andreas\data\Scripts

Something like that^

@charg2456 Ummm, to me it sounds like you don't have the game :S Your game requires these files to run , it cannot function correctly without em' so check to see if your game is installed correctly
