Hi, I built it myself. These are not sold in shops as finished engines they have to be machined and fabricated from castings and bar stock. Hope this helps.
its a bit on the costly side. THe copper for teh boiler is knocking on for £500 and then you add the mountain of other bits. It soon adds up. But over a couple of years its not bad.
Reeves dont do the castings for the 2 inch Minnie. I used two castings through the entire engine. Everything else was cut from bar stock and that includes the cylinder.
@kevingambrell I would love to build one of those, just out of curiousity how old is your son, i am 14 but i have to convice my parents i am old enough.
