Never mind now the High speed rail for Florida has been Banned yesterday, but theres Good News that there New Push for Sea Port jobs in Miami matterfact this project will create more long lasting jobs than the High speed rail, they predicted 35,000 shovel ready jobs for the Sea Port, thats 10,000 more jobs and Longer term construction jobs than High speed rail jobs

i would love a hige speed rail system that goes cross country.. im terrified of flying and i would love somthing to travel just as fast without the fear =D

@nighthawkm1992 I agree with you to, not only flying is terrified but the Security is getting worse, and the worst case senarrio of the security at airports in the future is that you may have to strip down naked to get through security, unless we get more high speed rail going in the U.S.

Let me understand this; we are going to borrow money from the Chinese to buy a high-speed rail system from the Japanese/Koreans/Germans or French to put some American Union construction workers in a job. Makes perfect sense if you are a progressive.
Yea, I'm going to load up the kids in my car, drive to Tampa, get on a train and travel to Orlando by "high speed rail" to save 45 minutes driving time. Who thought of this idea?
