Hey Guys,I have a softmodded wii 4.3E and i've had it like this for like a month but for some reason yesterday, my SDHC card couldn't be read in my Wii,It used to work fine and read all my homebrew stuff like FCEUX GX etc.

I recently moved the mega man 9 and 10 DLCs to my SDHC from my wii to see if i could get my DLCs working cus they would'nt work either

MY SDHC still works in my pc and my wii still reads SD cards so i don't know why my Wii wont read SDHC anymore,can anyone help thanks :)

@yong48858 it sounds to me that you have a pal game when u really need an ntsc, what you need to do is use a backup launcher such as "neogamma" select patchall in config options. and everything else *in config options* to a yes", and the reigon options to "region free" , do you have wifi by any chance , and do you play most of your wii games by usb or by disk?and is rockband on disk or usb *ps, if youhave rb1 instuments for guitar hero disk/flash drive,they are not compatible*

@WiiG4M3R64see: if you are using WBFS Manager and choose Game Partition Only it kinda reduces the game size. But if you use New Super Mario Bros. Wii it reduces the game size to 0.34GB! so if you want something that runs at 30 frames per second like COD it'll be a higher size like 3 gigs. but WBFS Manager can cut game size by quite a bit.

For anyone wondering why its not working, or about formatting the HDD just do this. Download USB Loader GX (newest version is best) and plug your HDD into your Wii and it will format it to WBFS for you. So you **dont** download a program. And it will import your games to the HDD VERY fast by pressing +. And it scrubs the game and converts it to WBFS. Takes about a minute depending on the game size. Just do this so you guys dont keep flooding this with questions.

Most likely your HDD is formated in fat format. To fix plug in HDD to your computer in your computer go to My Computer right click your HDD then click format then use NTFS as file system and check quick format then click start then it should work. !note this will erase everything already on your HDD so back up what u need!

The preloader comes on in case you need to backup your Wii from getting bricked. If you don't want the preloader to come on every time pop out the SD Chip and put it back into the Wii when you need it, the System Menu automatically starts up when the SD Chip is popped out.

Did you format your usb drive? And did you select the right drive?

i had the same problem with partition, and you either have to format your drive(button right next to load) or download a program in order to manually change your Hard Drive/USB settings to FAT32. One that I know of is called "CompuApps SwissKnife". it will help you delete data and change the partition to primary which is the way it has to be in order to put games on your drive with WBFS Manager

1 - yes but you can only fit a few games on it. As long as you dont intend to download a massive library of games to put on it 20 GB is fine
