Listen to you, tearing up those 16th & 32nd notes like it's nothing. It's beautiful! Well, minus the squeaks, but who cares? We all squeak every once in a while. Great job!
@RHSClarinetForLife I think the key phrase is "*like* it's nothing" :P Cause I can't even begin to describe how much trouble I had on some of those parts XD
@shinka1911 Thanks Shinka! If I had the time, I'd probably do 3 hours a day until my chops are completely dead XD But now that school's back and I've been recently banned from practicing in my dorm room, I'd say on average 1 hour a day :)
Thanks for the upload :] I haven't played for a week because I've been cramming up all my school work...I also can't seem to play the fast notes without slurs T.T But your videos inspire me and keep me motivated :D! Thanks for the upload ^^
@TheMangaMary Haha thank you, glad I can help out :) Yep, my tongue was also really slow in the past, but you just gotta think about limiting the motion to the very tip of the tongue, and make as little and light contact with the reed as possible. That way you can speed it up.
Well, my playing *was* very sloppy at times, and the classical crowd's pretty hard to please XD
Hey, Congratulations !!!! I like your sound and performance. How long time did you need to study this piece ? I would like to try it but I think it's a little hard to me yet. Maybe in several months. The fast part (tendonitis variation LOL) it's too fast.
@elaprendizdebrujo Thanks! The first piece I've been playing for probably around 2 and a half months, the second one I think 3 and a half. Definitely give the theme and variations a shot, it's a fun piece. The only really tricky part in that one is variation 4 lol, but once you get the voicing, the rest will pretty much play itself :)
omg. this is really beautiful :'D its so calming i almost fell asleep //shot// anyway, its great you play for fun and i look forward to more of your covers yo!! > w<)bb 2000+ minutes.... OAO;;;; dang, long time there! QAQ)/ OTSU, linnaes!
@kousei2207 lol thanks ^_^ I don't blame you for falling asleep though, unaccompanied clarinet isn't exactly the most exciting thing in the world for non-clarinet players XD Maybe the next time I record these, it'll be with a full orchestra and you can stay wide awake for the whole thing! :P As for the 2000 mins, I blame my school's trollish internet. 50 Mbps download speed, 0.3 Mbps upload >.>
You have such a nice clear tone ^^ I'm jealous. Lol, this is really encouraging for me, because solo and ensamble is coming up in school :) Is this for fun, or are you performing it?
My favorite part is at 2:11, I've always liked doing runs and scales :3 Great job, can't wait for more ^^
@kawaii924 lol I miss having those in school :P Good luck with your solos then! As for me, this is just for fun at the moment, though I'm hoping to take the second piece to concerto competition in school next year (or at least play it with the symphonic band). The first piece I'm hoping to play in a music festival (and I'm pretty much ready with it), but those usually clash with exam times :(
And thanks, glad you liked it :D I suppose we all like playing the fast stuff XD

@linnaes Lol same here. Sometimes I'm dead after school or I just came home late.
After 5 o'clock I can't practice any instrument or else my neighbours are start to complain xD.
