@163K1D Dude....slow it down, half speed if you need, and practice it on slowly. Then when you've got it at half speed, start moving the tempo notch up!
@Yungjakk All in the video. And tab sucks - if you're serious about getting better you should learn to read notation. For some reason people think notation is hard - well my 6 year old kid is learning an instrument in school and he's learning notation. If 6 year old kids can learn to read music....anyone can. (And SOOOOOOO much better than tab.)
@tomahawkwarning2127 The note locations are all in the video - how you finger those notes will depend on your particular system - what size hands you have, what size bass you have and whehter you use one finger per fret or upright bass fingering. Take the notes and work out how YOU would play them is my best advice.
@MegaORIENT1 It's not normal. But if you're playing/holding your bass the wrong way it's highly likely. Again, fretting hand or plucking hand? And where is the pain?
@Chiyamaka That's what your ears are for! Seriously, I've played through the sections in the song, all you have to do is learn those sections and correlate them to the parts of the song. It ain't rocket science....
@Chiyamaka would yo like him to play the song for you too? if you want to play the song then surely you have heard it enough to know how many times to play them...
got it!

@howtoplaybassdotcom
Tabs are great for beginners, but you should eventually learn to read music.
