Correction, the MIG 21 was the leading kill vehicle of the vietnam war. Or the American war as the vietnamese call it. Nguyen Van Coc, had 9 Kills. 11 other Vietnamese fighter pilots were aces in the Mig21pf. We flew the same missions over the same flight paths with the same calls signs over and over again. We removed guns from fighters and tried missles 100 percent of the time. It was a catastorphe. Too late in the game we started the top gun program in 1972. do your homework.

@RobSar63 mig 29 was a formidable fighter, it only had one problem, it used big big distances to turn around, and yes, the american fighter missiles worked like shit, but some american fighters had guns, such as the american cosair jet fighter´and the propeller driven other planes (cant remember ther names). but the f4 was not worth much, even the mig 17 was better, bombs and guns. a good combo

An interesting colouring of the MiG-9 .... and a closed air intake. Also very fascinating in this game from the last century are the Gotha Go 229 "flying wing" and the Focke-Wulf Ta 183 "Hückebein". Really a game for kiddys. :o)

It is IL2 1946. Maybe the best ww2 combat flightsimulator ever made but rogertrooper used to change the skins of the planes and put buildings into other so they look realy weird. but both planes were in dogfight or planned

the first is a mig-9 (1946)

and the second a horton go 229 (1945 maybe a week in dogfight)

and i realy dont know why these f****** idiots speak another language cause it should be spoken english

It's multiple in game maps. You can't download maps or planes because of the Closed Source Code(that's why we don't worry about online cheating). But you can down load skins, campaigns and missions as well as other utility to your hearts content.
