  • We dont need your advice.Get help for your " little" problem instead of poking you little nose in the internal affairs of another country,

  • smart girl + sexy looks = awesome

  • Orwellian thought crime 101. Hitchens might have an issue with this... I would love to hear it.

  • Long live the Born Again Pagan Celts ; )

  • Being anti-religious and trying to turn everyone into an atheist is no different then a religious person being anti-atheist, you are the same except at the other end of the argument. Ignorance is the real and only danger in the world.

  • the truth of the matter is the irish goverment brought in this law not for the catholic church but so that an even more narrow minded group the muslims wont be offended

  • Yeah you said : Catholics are intolerant shit heads lol. You are aware your church spawned Hitler; right? Yup, it's respective anti-semitism was removed in 1954..what a coincidence

SO yeah fuck you making atheists look bad suck my balls

  • @SuperPieBros

Not once anywhere in my comment did I even mention the phrase 'Catholic' or imply in any way that the intolerance and Catholicism have any causal link. That may very well be my opinion, but the fact of the matter is; I never stated it. You misunderstood my quoting you and made up the rest of this nonsense yourself, then proceeded to go into a very long, boring tirade of swearing and insults and missapprehensions. Are you getting this yet?

  • @SuperPieBros

    To clarify...

The '>' in my comment denotes a quoation, from you.

I'll re-do it with proper apostrophes so that you understand.

    ''You're a shit head'' <- Your quote.

''You're intolerant'' <- Also your quote.

It's not possible to use both of those sentences and NOT be intolerant, regardless of whether or not your opponent agreed with you, calling him/her a ''shit head'' makes *you* look intolerant, I tried to highlight your hypocrisy with direct quotations...christ.

  • @BelfastAtheist you said cathlicolics are shit heads readyour own fucking comments

  • What a dumb bitch

  • Someone needs to explain to these Irish politicians, that, blasphemy is a victimless crime. }:-{/}

  • Ireland tries so hard to be politically correct on every issue that it gets tangled in a fascistic liberalism.

  • Ireland didnt really have religious conflict problems, it was more about unionism and nationalism in the north but made up to be a purely religious thing. The irish church did have a big role in the country for many years and sadly the effects are still there to be seen. I share your hope that our laws will catch up to modern times soon, if not i may just move away

  • she's scary

  • I live in Ireland and I go to catholic school as well, I am an atheist and I'm telling you now there is no law stating this. I can stand up in the middle of religion class and say "I'm anAtheist" and nothing will happen. I don't have a problem with religion but it's people like you making all religious people look bad. Once again there is no law about this and you should stop saying it, religion isn't worth fighting over the catholic church has more blood on it's hands than hitler !

  • @DJAnnamarie1993 and @SuperPieBros Do you Irish read local newspapers... at all? Keep your eyes open for the words "Defamation Act 2009". If you can't be bothered to notice or care for which rights and freedoms your government is taking away from you, you probably don't deserve them to begin with.

  • @henkvanderlaak dude it's not really a law if they don't do s**t about it. Like I could shout it out in a public place (And I have) and nothing will happen.

  • @DJAnnamarie1993 Right, so nobody was paying attention and you got away with it. And can you count on it, that you can do it again next week or next month and still get away with it? Can you do it in front of a couple of gardaí? Can you publish your words in the local newspaper? What will happen if a nice old granny then files a complaint against you?

At some point you'll find out that the law is very real and you *will* be silenced by your government, 1984 style.

  • @henkvanderlaak well it has been in papers before and you can shout pretty much anything at the gardai LMAO

  • Fuck you dick faced cunt sucking piece of shit I'm a catholic from Ireland and my sister is an atheist. Fuck you making catholics look like intolerant shit heads ! It's such bullshit there is no law in Ireland saying that shit I bet youi made it up cause you have no life loser !

  • @SuperPieBros

Catholics are intolerant shit heads lol. You are aware your church spawned Hitler; right? Yup, it's respective anti-semitism was removed in 1954..what a coincidence.

  • @BelfastAtheist people like you are shit head and i think your the inolerent one

  • @SuperPieBros

    >People like you are shit head.

    >Your the intolerant one.

    Oh, the irony.

  • @BelfastAtheist fuck you explane this you call catholics shit heads for being intolerant but by calling catholics shit heads you are your self an intorlent shithead oh and by the way how is that for irony

  • @SuperPieBros

Can you not read? Or are you just incapable of rational thought? I never called catholics 'shit heads' not only is such childish nonsense below me, but it wasn't even implied. I was actually mocking you, for calling people who don't agree with your position 'shit heads' and pointing out how intolerant it makes you look. You really need to learn how to read...

Incidentally, you don't appear to know what 'irony' means. Yep, call someone a 'shit head' that's how to win a debate...

  • @BelfastAtheist Hitler was an atheist and so was Stalin..

  • @hisuniqueness80

I'm not having this fucking argument again. Read 'Mein Kempf' watch Hitler's speeches (Notably the Nuremberg rallies) read his private correspondonces and you'll find he was very much a believer, who earnestly believed he was doing 'Gods work' but then again, so did the Crusaders..

Hitler invokes YHWH in practically every chapter of Mein Kepmf, as well as in virtually all of his speeches. As for Stalin, yep he was an atheist. I suppose atheism is evil now? :(

  • blasphemy ftw

  • FINALLY . A LAW THAT MAKES SENSE. GO IRELAND, THE PERSON IN THIS VIDEO NEEDS TO GET A LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST AND WASH HER BLACK HEART. SHE IS EVIL

  • @MrSusejtsirhc AMEN NIGGA

  • @MrSusejtsirhc religious people are vile and evil fashist terrorist criminals.

  • "religions will never be able to coexist with eachother"

religion written as an agenda of what u have to believe and what you have to focus in live does not change. It does not develope, like a society. It has no changing Zeitgeist, it remains still for hundreds of years. There is a good reason why we dont stone people in civilized countries, but these reasons are developed by humans not by the bible or the quran.

  • @Serpico261 Oh what's this? The same old religion debate again? Yuck - I'm outta here!

  • "religions will never be able to coexist with eachother" damn i wish more people thought like that here in america >.<....but religion itself isnt evil...people are just really stupid 99% of the time

  • I agree, and I don't think you're over reacting. Good on you for speaking out against the (as Richard Dawkins puts it) enemies of reason.

  • Thanks your this video!! Your support is much appreciated!!

  • what has creationism got to do with blasphemy.Nothing

  • If accused of Blasphemy simply ask for the injured party to take the stand for cross examination ..... So you may grant relief !

  • An idea is something that takes intelligences to perceive Belief is something an idiot can achieve

I would not underestimate the ironic humor of the Irish people ,be da thundering jazus ,it's in our culture

  • This is why I don't celebrate Shit Patrick's day. Most don't know why he is even celebrated.

  • nothings really happened. its funny irelands very secular now tbh. this was a stupid attempt to stop religious intolerance, its bullshit.

  • Everyone, go to Peggy Kanes website.

Or my channel to get to it. Great news!

  • Saddly it is Much worse then that. In America our own president Bush said "No, I don't know that Atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God".

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

  • On top of that, "God" has never been proven to exist, only in a book. Where is the hard evidence?

I would also like to add, that they sound like extremists to me. Making a big deal out of fairy tails.

  • Saddly it is Much worse then that. In America our own president Bush said "No, I don't know that Atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God".

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

  • Bush has no say so, because he's not even human. None of those clowns in "power" are. They don't belong where they are and they all need to be removed. As long as they run a corrupt government, their laws are void. The people are stronger than the government and we need to start acting like it. 1st law as far as i'm concerned is that war is a crime and will never be waged. Those intent on waging war will be tried and convicted of treason against the people of this world.

  • LOL.. What, their"God will get hurt feelings?...LOL...Sounds like he can't defend himself...lol..And we all know why...BECAUSE HE IS IMAGINARY! THEY ALL ARE .! THE ALL MIGHTY POWERFUL GOD OF THE UNIVERSE CAN'T DEFEND HIMSELF FROM HIS OWN CREATION.. Funny...funny...funny These people need to get a life... And grow up! We are one with all that exists and it is up to us to stop all the nonsense going on in this world. Because we are all that is.

  • Kudos to you weresheepie.

  • Well said. Problem, there is a national obsession here with religion. It permeates society like a cancer. Whether you are a devout catholic or a (lapsed) protestant, like myself, the conversation ultimately comes round to - "which church do you attend?" or like in my case, the son of a (late,) preacherman, the assumption is not only I believe in god but actually "worship" at a place of recognised prayer every sunday (at least.) This is what has driven so many of us screaming away from eire!

  • This totally crept up on me. What on earth is going on with my country.

  • i totally agree: religions will never be able to coexist with each other!! The solution is teaching the scientific ways, and elimination religions !!!

  • I think the bimbo in this video should check her facts. Ireland is a very inclusive society, too inclusive, in my opinion. This law was passed without the blessing of the Irish people, by a politician acting on his own agenda. It is unconstitutional and cv ould never be enforced in any court of law. I have loads of anti-religious books at home, shops here stock them, so how effective do you think this 'law' will be? It's irrelevant and wasteful given our current economic circumstances.

  • You know this God chap has a pretty fearsome reputation. Smiting folk, flooding the world, turning people into pillars of salt, murdering all the first born children and such. I'm pretty sure he can fight his own battles and doesn't really need us going around making silly laws to protect his feelings.

  • Dermot Ahern, fianna fail and the catholic church are all finished and their god can suck my balls xD

  • Anyne interested, my video which has details on the NEW Irish Blasphemy Law, which prohibits blasphemy... please check it out. I also mention details about the upcoming Stephen Fry and Christopher Hitchens debate "Is christianity a force for good" taking place in two months. Should be a great watch, together they're witty and direct.

Just paste it after the regular YouTube url.

/watch?v=09a7dcMvcxw Please check it out and give us a helping hand. It is a serious matter.

    Peace,

    - Paul M

  • What a load of complete rubbish.

Jail time for having a copy of any anti-religious book? The God Delusion will not get you jailtime...

  • Has anyone here actually read, or seen the specifics of the law? It does not mean that "simply saying god is imaginary" will get you jail time and a fine. The way it is constructed makes it virtually impossible to successfully prosecute. It's only because its in our constitution that blasphemy is illegal, and the only way we can change that is through referendum. I cant understand why people are only getting angry now when it has been in our constitution for decades!

  • Easy solution to this crap. All the Irish politicians that voted for this law to be passed get voted OUT of office next time around. Start writing to your representatives now to warn them that they will be unemployed next term.

  • Of all the countries in Europe you would think Ireland of all places would realize how divisive, counter productive, and ultimately toxic state involvement in religion is.

What a sad day for a nation of citizens who have seen sectarian conflict to be making such a backward step.

  • Anyone want to meet up and hold posters dissing Scientology and catholic priest perverts and handing out Nietzsche works? see if we get arrested! fuck this shit, ill say what i want! this kind of law pushes prejudices and opinions underground which only every breeds disaster. whatever peoples beliefs, and i think as an Irish person brought up Catholic that everyone is entitled to their beliefs, it is very important to some people. but for god sake (oops) we are going back in time here! IDIOTS!

  • The blasphemy law here in Ireland is ridiculous, but I can't see the law lasting. Ireland is an increasingly secular and pluralist democracy. We just need a change of government. Fianna Fáil have fucked things up royally.

  • lolblasphemy

    a victimless crime.

  • I live in Ireland... And naturally have a huge problem with organised religion. Religion just masks human responsibility and allows anything out of our control to be dismissed as an "act of God". It disgusts me that our country has gone back to the fucking dark ages.

  • Hey dudette, well said.I too get pissed at repeating myself.Ireland, like the rest of europe will realise that religion is the utmost profanity.

Please be good and kind as I`m sure you are, thanks for sharing

  • Pastafarians in Ireland unite and phone the police every time someone blasphemes against FSM.

Seriously. I'd be so pissed of if I lived in Ireland.

  • Very well said — this is an astounding backwards step, and I hope the idiots who introduced this legislation are given a swift and aggressive knock-back.

  • my god you said that without a head scarf death to you u

  • It's fucking ridiculous I am Irish and I'm appalled my it and so is half the country. The bastard government decided to introduce without listening to opposition parties and more importantly the public. You see the law was already there and inactive sorta swept under the rug and this dipshit politician Dermot Ahern decided to "update" it. I'm raging!!!

  • In Germany you get up to three years of jail for insulting religious believes...

...and up to two years for buying child porn...

Yeah that's right. Up to 2 years for buying child porn. Up to three years for insulting religious believes.

  • Hahaha! Great ending!

  • jesus fucking christ. how stupid is that.

well ireland is now on my enemy list

(by the way, you are hot!)

  • the government brought it in we, the public, had NO say. so blame the idiot politicians not Ireland as a whole please.

  • believe me, i do. i know the progressive people of ireland (my people might i add) are not reflected by their anti-progressive and dogmatic government.

and yes i would join your blasphamy rally, i think ireland needs that right now!

  • @Pippitypopify Who elected those politicians? Pretty quick to blame dumb Americans every time Bush stuck his thumb up his ass.

  • Since Blasphemy is supposed to be a crime against god, it should not be acceptable as legislation until the deity in question has been irrevocably proved to exist

  • @lordshield1

Better even: Just wait until the deity in question files a complaint at the local police station until the case is accepted for investigation. This should sound fair to both sides.
