unbelievable!! great job Lyndell..with all of your problems ..there u are thinking of everyone else..as usual! thank u for this beautifull tribute!! BLESS YOU!!!
I grew up in Union just up the street from Merserau Park at 504 Casterline Ave. Does anyone know whether my old house is under water too? What about UE High School? Was it flooded? My husband's from Vestal by way of VT. It's been a lonnng summer-to-fall for us.
psst, for the Kirby park one, the truck on the other side, you can only see the very top lights on the truck,. I guess they left it there because it's rusted and old...when we went back after the water level went down, the road after the bridge was culapsed
this is hedy..i grew up in vestal, spent a LOT of time in endicott, and i just can't believe these pictures... so many of us from around the country from these towns are in shock and filled with sadness about all of this.. wish there were ways we could just turn back the clock...
Amazing job on the montage!!! I know it has been touching my family and friends hearts! I grew up in Apalachin and can only imagine what everyone is going through. Thank you for sharing!
Grew up in Nichols... experienced the flood of 1972 and vowed never to live on running water after seeing the Wappasening creek grow into the monster it can become. Water is so amazingly powerful and destructive! This was SO much worse!! My heart goes out to everyone in the Owego, Nichols, Binghamton area. My prayers are with you.
Unbelievable! Its been all over the news out here in Wyoming. Saw some photos this morning where I went to PSU in Wilkes Barre, PA- completely underwater! I couldn't believe the damage at the Oakdale Mall, that's guite a ways from the river. Clinton Street and Binghamton Plaza were no big suprise though. I wonder what Otsiningo Park looks like?
i live in binghamton and that flood was about 2 weeks away from my brithday but i live on a hill so my house didnt get flooded

Thank you Lynne. For those of us from the area though live far away now, it is appreciated. Very sad time.
One minor thought: Try to give each picture some more time as you edit, so we can focus in a little better.
Thanks again though. God bless the Triple Cities.
