How come your camera keeps going out of focus? I like this video though. I saw an old video where the scientists described ufos with holes in the middle and a notch on the side.
Thank you for reply,and i will take a look at gridkeeper's channel for video,no i have never set cam to infity yet,but will take a look at filming, setting the focus to infity.

Nice catch. It's weird-it doesn't seem to matter where you are-they predominantly appear in the west/ south west and head east/ south east (although I have seen the exact opposite). Reminds me of a little story of three guys following a star or something like that.
you have got to be absolutely joking about it being a satellite its HUGE .. anyone can see its HUGE .. LOW FLYING and HUGE .. and the prototype military electrogravity stuff tends to be blue glowing ..
These objects change direction and speed in ways no natural object (or even man-made) could achieve, thats why they stand out from the rest of the stars in the background.Good vid.
Not sure,just doing a frame by frame to see if there are any good pictures of the object among them,and will post them here,then we can all have a view as to what it is or not.
A bit of a cop out answer that one : ) YOU filmed the object - so YOU were in the best position to give the rest of us an idea of what this object was... or wasnt !!!
Billy,not a copout answer,i can say it was not a plane/helicopter/ballon/lattern/and do not think it was satellite.still working on this footage trying to get as much info as i can,anyway what are your thoughts as to what the object is.
The only issue i take with the video is no sound. If you can get a camcorder or camphone with a microphone then it might give more context and info for the sighting.
I left a comment below but I would need your exact coordinates to locate and name that satellite. It could be alot of things but I see it s a satellite first. I would need to see the actual video to make a better assesment but it looks like a satellite.

My cam is on auto focus,that way i just use zoom,find it better to use on moving objects. thank you for your reply.

Very nice vid! Do you think this could be one of those style of crafts that is in 'nasa tether incedent'? It could be! There is a few on youtube now.
There quite a good video of one on gridkeeper's channel. You can tell by the hole in the middle and the notch out the side.
Have you tried setting the focus to infity yet? It's ideal for this type of filming.

The footage looks genuine to me although I would have prefered an audio recording to support the video SkywatcherScotland.
I think it was either a satellite or
a prototype military aircraft.
