music is not haram unless it is about violence, sex, drugs, alcolhol, anything haram basically. dating can only be as social gatherings no getting all touchy on a girl or boy but just as a talking/socializing relationship

And in the happiness you get when feeling close to Allah, and in His rememberance do hearts truly find rest.
I am so happy and at rest that I'm not living that typical getting drunk, terrible hangover the next day and rubbish lifestyle. Alhamdulillah! forguiding us and making us Muslims! :)))

There are 2 restrictions:
1)The poetry should be wise(as u hv already mentioned)
2)Musical instruments other than the duff and natural sound effects is haram.
