Any idea why I can't seem to get much power out of this amp before the clipping signal goes off? I have a 250A alternator, big 3 upgrade, Stinger SP2150 trunk battery, and all necessary cables, hooked up correctly. Can't seem to get this amp to put out the power it's rated at before it clips. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Alright thats cool, would this setup be ok? Two CVR's D4 12 (I was going to pick type R's but CVR's give more SPL, sacrificing SQ though!), L Ported box tuned to 33hz running down to a Hifonics 1608D amplifier which does 1400-1600wrms @ 1 ohm, I'd notch the gain so amp only outputs 1200, that way im overpowering by 400 watts RMS (CVR's take a beating).

Clamped them at 2,885 RMS each(running 2 18's in a wall with 2 colossus xxv now)

What OHM is the sub and what OHM you got the amp running at? I'm curious what power you got going to the sub.

The sub is a dual 1ohm, I have the sub wired to a 2ohm nominal load... Clamped at 2,000RMS with box rise to ~2.7ohms

149.1 in box tuned to about 30hz...The new set-up for next year will be 2 18" AA MAYHEMS in a wall tuned to about 30hz still and 2 Hifonics XXV COLOSSUS amps

Your 2 10" AQ can do a metered 149.1 on music tuned to 30hz? Good for you lol....

My 2-10" PAP WMD2's on 3k puts out a metered 148.6 so damn close! And it was at 34hz. Not dogin your system but with the power and a AA sub, you should be well over 150.
