Also! Most hobby shops (at least in my city) don't carry HPI parts & always have to order out, not to mention parts for traxxas are almost half the cost & are replaced fairly easily. Crashes of this severity don't happen all that often & besides

FUCK SAVAGE this & FUCK SAVAGE that! I am so sick & tired of hearing how INDESTRUCTIBLE the savage is. What they don't tell you is that when it does break ( & THEY DO BREAK ) - that it's major major surgery & takes hours to split the sandwiched chassis , not to mention the chassis gets tweaked & cannot be hammered straight, it must be replaced with new side plates.

Savvys are called king of the bashers for a reason. ive launched mine over houses with no issues but a bent shock shaft. you wanna kno what the best is 4 what? ask me ive got a savage flux, e revo, 2 baja 5b's and ive had jatos maxx's etc. my maxx broke when hitting pennies so its gone now due to in 2 months 5 bulkheads, 12 shocks, 2 motor mounts,7 control arms and more . my savage has been with me over a year and still runs awesome only thing i did was put 5mm plates on it. $20 from tcscrawlers
