I see this video as news, not a performance. As news, the pictured actor's face is not being used with intent to sell a product or earn money for the producer.

So, SAGDEAL did nothing illegal.

Ethically questionable, sure. But the intent here is to prove his point.

This video is incorrect and is an example of what a producer cannot do under the terms of the tentative agreement. The tentative agreement does not make any changes relating to Product Integration. The contract rules on that point remain exactly the same. Actually they did not modify, it was pulled right out of a film. Mr. Clooney could certainly sue for using his image. It happens all the time. It's okay for SAGDEAL to use unethical and illegal behavior because SAGDEAL is some how above it all.

Thanks. The articles I read said "modified", and Mr. Allen wanted $10 million, but recieved only $5. That Mr. Allen's image was clipped directly from his film, is not right.

Still, it does not change my opinon regarding SAGDEAL.

I am happy to defend SAGDEAL's right to show a picture of Michael Clayton. He is not really selling or endorsing anything, just showing the pic.

And I assume both men like the attention.

This is a flat-out lie. There is ZERO change between the 2009 contract and the previous one concerning product integration. THERE IS NO CHANGE AT ALL.

If there is, please cite the language in the 2009 TV/Th Tentative Agreement that changes an actors rights, responsibilities, or requirements with regard to product integration in any way.

I agree. This contract reminds me of print work offerring an attractively large up front buyout rate, (ex: + 3% and + 3.5% wage increases) then runs for years.
