Fela on Broadway is a befitting tribute to the memory of a true Musical Legend.Fela anikulapo Kuti whose genious is unparalleled by any african Musician dead or alive,
Fela oozed music ,passion and genious.Whatever he did he was a man who lived without pretences.WITH HIM WHAT YOU SAW WAS WHAT YOU GOT.hE KEPT IT REALLY REAL. I AM SPEAKING WITH FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE AS SOME ONE WHO KNEW HIM ON AND OFF THE STAGE.
as a nigerian born child I would like to say thank you from Nigeria and Fela - not only will our country be noticed but fela's music will spread more widely
to the producers & directors.i really appreciate u guys appreciating BABA songs & legacy doing FELA on broadway.one thing i dont appreciate is the FELA imitator SAHR NGAUJAH,cos the tonation of the imitation is far different from FELAS .his O sounds like A ,dont get me wrong he is ok,but can b better, why dont u guys make an audition for the next FELA & watch how many ppl going come out dat will sound & act like FELA.JAY_Z i bet u wouldn't want some 2 mispronouce your music lyrics acting like u
FELA was the GREATEST 'MAD MAN' to have lived in Nigeria! Even after his death, he is still a great man! I am very proud to be a Nigerian because of him!
It's a real pity he didn't get this much honour or respect in Nigeria while he was alive.
Long live F.E.L.A. (For Ever Lives Agbami)! The greatest Nigerian whoever lived!
Yes! Fela is coming to Chicago in March!!

Jay Z has no right to even mention Fela. Everyone want's to touch greatness instead of be great themselves. Real talk.
