I'm a fan of NIN still, and have been for about 5 years. Sometimes people are so far up their asses they can't see other good music besides NIN, I was like that. Not to say NIN is bad but it's good to try and expand from MM, Rob/White Zombie, MInistry, KMFDM, MDFMK, SKinny Puppy and so forth... you'll find a lot of other good musicians out there too.

I have been a huge NIN fan since the early 90's...and i also love a number of other kinds of music also...and i go too tons of live shows, that being said with the exception of David Gilmoures set and the 101 proof Pantera show I went to in Dallas, NIN is one of the only other shows i have seen where i found myself thinking "wow their live set makes their album sound like shit" and thats a rare thing to find in a band. No doubt this is better than LP's version, as of course they wrote it, and they know how to perform it better as it is his words. Overall, personally I prefer LP as a band, but these guys have created amazing music, including this, and their Ghosts album which is truly awesome and ambient.

I don't like to put down Linkin Park's version really. I'm sure if you had them both in a room, Chester himself would give his props to Trent and tell you NIN's version is better. Chester has said in interviews that he looked up to NIN when he was younger, so I can't imagine him being like "hey Trent, I totally played your song better".
