The bluray device is not faster than a typical optical drive device. Plus, files are loaded and unloaded into RAM for minimum use of the optical drive. Plus, with the PS3 one can chose to install to the hard disk (as far as I know) which makes bluray redundant. Having a bluray optical drive does not affect the limitations of the other components, the MB, CPU, RAM, HDD and GPU and hence does not affect the graphic parameters used in the games.

No it does not. It does not affect movies the same way it affects a game. The blu-ray disk and blu-ray optical drive is used just for storage and does not directly affect graphic performance.
