@takarlor12 I don't know how you could actually race trains for real. You'd have to lay down a lot of side by side track. Like a slot car thing I suppose...?
Used to goto the Sagus racetrack North of Los Angeles in the early 90's to watch these type of races. I saw one where they went ten to twelve laps without any collisions or red/yellow flags. And then there was the time one of the drivers floored it to get past the coming group at the intersection and the caboose driver decided it was a bad idea and hit the brakes, the middle car was t-boned and they wrapped around the car that hit them. Thanks for reviving the memories. :)

they bolt 3 cars together the one in the front has the engine the one in the middle is an empty shell the one in the back has brakes and no engine
