I never knew she hosted her own variety show in Italy! She looks amazing here. Also, she was a wonderful, talented dancer. In this clip, I loved everything about it--very elegant, sophisticated choreography, lighting, orchestrations and costumes. Its seems Italian television provided her with a top notch production that best displayed her talent. Its a shame that she has retired from show business, because there are way too few performers today who don't possess talent of her caliber.
@matt1corey Yeah she and other black entertainers of her generation paved the way for all of today's black entertainers. Beyounce, Kelly Rowland, Rhianna, Missy, Lauren Hill, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Ciara, Faith Evans and many others owe a great amout of graditude to our black entertainers who were to be treated like trash in the same places the performered and often were not alouded the same privileges as others in the places they went to!
