It wasn't Manchester Uni - it was actually at the Sheffield Leadmill and I was there on the night this was recorded!!! She'd been due to play a while before and the gig was cancelled as she was in hospital with septicemia. I have a video ( somewhere in my attic ) of the performance. I have fond memories of seeing her play live - such a tragic shame the way she died.

I suggest reading Ari's book "L'amour n'oublie jamais" which gives the true representation of Nico and not the usual rumours and lies. Nico and her son Ari are both unique artists. RIP Nico.
