I want to be part of the EuroBrick community (a european lego forum site, but I am too young D-:< ) and I usualy see static MOCs with no real life action. I just LOVE animated scenes. It makes the lego world more alive. I am hoping to get my own NXT set, but they are so exspensive! got any tips for a begginer?

BrickstarRunner, I also prefer motorized creations. This is why most of my projects have an NXT and some Power Functions elements. The NXT is definitely a "must have" set, but as you say is quite expensive. I would suggest as a temporary alternative to invest on power functions (for example the Lego Bulldozer 8275, which is equipped with 4 motors, 2 IR receivers and one remote, will give amazing possibilities). Later, you can also combine your PFs with an NXT (using an IR sensor).
