@adgeofbionicles : Hi! Sorry That I am answering so late. I used the Phizix Engine - which was very good at the time i started. Now I would really develop with the box2d engine for its WAY more powerful and it´s also very likely that the engine is ported for ios, android, etc. Yes, i´m sure its harder to learn (more math and stuff) but it will be worth it for it way stronger than phizix. If you only want simple physics (ball rolling, cannons, swings, etc) then you can use the chipmunk. best Jot
@TaceoGamingTutorials Hey Pal. It depends on what you wanna do. But threre is a pretty nice and simple (if you already know a bit about MMf2) physics extension called phizix (you´ll find it in google). With this (and some example files that are included) you can do the whole box moving, ball rolling thing! Give it a try!
1) convert your music files (mp3 etc) to ogg. (you´ll find converters all around the net). then the built in mmf2 player can play those files. ogg files are quite a bit smaller
2) use the active direct object. (a blue square with a yellow cross in it). this thing plays, loops,... nearly every file ALSO mp3´s. You ll find out how it is used very easy.
Hey there! thanks. Ok i will try to write a short answer (if you need more just send me your email adress and i give u more info): mmf2 is really agreat prog for sidescrollers, spacegames (xenon,...) and stuff like that. In all those cases it is VERY powerfull and in the beginning really easy to use.
the best thing: there is a big community (clickteam) taht is programming so called extensions you can use free in your game (like physics, music plugins, video plugs,....).
Which physics extension did you use? Phizix Box2D or Phizix Chipmunk Engine?

Hey there. Ok there are different posibilities:
1) convert your music files (mp3 etc) to ogg. (you´ll find converters all around the net). then the built in mmf2 player can play those files. ogg files are quite a bit smaller
2) use the active direct object. (a blue square with a yellow cross in it). this thing plays, loops,... nearly every file ALSO mp3´s. You ll find out how it is used very easy.

@ForumBlackwolfdave
Or just convert your Mp3 to WAV, and PLAY SAMPLES in levels start and select your converted music. Easier way..
