@AyoStainFTW Exactly! The quickest path from A to B is a straight line. You banana out before the base thats guaranteed yours safely and you go in straight from 1st to 2nd where it may be close. For an outfield single you banana turn, round 1st base full speed and then slam on the brakes if the outfielder can gun you out, but if he bobbles it you turn and burn stretching a single into a double. If you don't make the turn hard like that you just cost your team a free man in scoring position.

thts if ur gunna go for the triple...bc then u take the rounder turn by second and have a straight run at third. But when ur going for 2.. if u do tht.. then ull b running straight at the bag and are ready for a slide if needed... but ya this guy began rounding WAY too early

You should run in a straight diagonal line towards foul territory, wasting as little time as possible. Run diagonal, don't turn and banana it out.
