Texte grenzwertig?? Für mich sind es gerade diese Texte, die ich genial finde: Die richtige (eigenständige) Mischung aus Albernem, Improvisiertem, Absurdem - mit einem Impetus des Dadaismus. Darin sind wir uns gleich. Schneider bewegtsich hemmungslos zwischen Hoch- und Subkultur, er hat sich ja selbst mal als einen bezeichnet, der Sinn im Unsinn findet. Für mich lässt sich die Welt jedenfalls mit Helge besser ertragen ;-) LG

That's your opinion. The lyrics aren't that important in every modern contemporary genre. If you listen to a cd version and to two different live recordings of the same song, you will see that they're always different because they used to improvise quite a lot. I think they were great musicians.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to convince you. It's a question of personal taste and you simply don't like them, it's okay though. You're also german, aren't you? So think about e.g. Herbert Grönemeyer. He's very popular and I can't understand why, because his lyrics are completely nonsense. Let's put it that way, modern (popular) music ought to contain good lyrics and witty ideas, but in fact, they just don't have it. Okay, I hope you don't feel offended ;-)

Eine kritische Grundhaltung zu haben, ist sicherlich von Vorteil, da kann ich nicht widersprechen. Offensichtlicher "nonsense" einiger Musiker (H.Schneider, die Doofen, Otto Waalkes etc.) ist okay, wenn auch die Grenze zur Peinlichkeit nah ist. Im Falle des BVSC sind die Texte sehr banal und auch mit sexuellen Anspielungen versehen; genial ist das sicherlich nicht. Es sind der Flair und die musikalischen Fähigkeiten des BVSC, die sicherlich viele, trotz allem, überzeugen können.
