i am facing a problem with the stereo speaker of my phone nokia n82

the left stereo speaker of my phone went off yesterday as i was watching the video i noticed the problem as the sound suddenly decreased

I've read in a few reviews that the silver N82 is built better than the black, as the silver was made in Finland, and some of the black versions available on the web are made in China? (if you look at the black version on amazon you can see one of the reviews says that) Some people have reported of the black version feeling cheaper. I really want the black, but I'm leaning more towards the silver because everyone that got it loved it, and had no complaints.

Surprisingly, I have heard the opposite. The black version was released a couple months after the silver I and I think Nokia took the opportunity to fix hardware issues. I believe the N82 European versions were built in Finland or Hungary(?) where Nokia has another manufacturing plant. The Asian, and possibly North American, versions were built in China. I'm buying a black one from Amazon tomorrow, do you want me to send you a review of the build quality via email when it arrives?

btw, if you wanna see 2 impressive videos showing the n82's video/audio quality, type in "n82 fireworks". Another one you could type in is "n82 concert" and click on that kaiser cheifs one. The sound quality is not distorted, it actually looks and sounds pretty good.

A really amazing thing is that it can capture a still fan blade with no blur!

Like Andrew said, the black N82 has a better build. The buttons have also been slightly improved. I will say though, that recording with N82 does distort at times, which totally kills the concert videos. I think it depends on the location in relation to the speakers. When the videos come out nice and clear, it's a great video for sure. And the pictures come out with no blur because of the Xenon flash. Any camera with one can pull that off.

Andrew has actually received his N82 black (from amazon) and sent me his review on it. This one that was available on Amazon is said to be made in china according to one reviewer. When Andrew recieved his, he noitced it even said "Made in China" on the box, rather than the traditional "Made in Finland" or "Made by Nokia".

He also mentioned the D-pad seems rather loose, which on the Silver version I don't think this is a problem.

For this reason, I will be buying the silver from amazon.

The silver from amazon actually is cheaper than the black. And who knows, maybe I'll just purchase the black case from an online store.

I'm just going to go with the silver because there are so many positive reviews on it.

I'm speaking from personal experience. I own the black N82. Yes, it is made in china, but that's how Nokia is doing it these with some of their phones these days. It's still Nokia. The D-pad isn't loose, as it is softer which makes it easier to navigate with it especially when playing games and such. I assure you that most users will agree that the D-pad is better on the black, but to each his own. I suggest getting it, but you really can't go wrong with either one.

nicely done. All my electronic gadgets I had my invisible seals on Nintendo DS Lite, Cameras, MP3 Players, etc....It's very easy to apply. It's claimed to be reusable but I haven't tried to take off and put back on yet to see if it works. I bet it won't. It tends to have dust problems getting into the corner and corners start to peel off.

im planning to buy one for my phone but i dont like the orange peel effect on it (little bumps on your screen).

if this was shot shortly after you put it on, the bumps may have been there because it havnt dried totally yet.

if this was days after the installation, i guess it's in the material.

Hola si funciona el gps en mexico, y si yo vendo unas protecciones como estas no es el invisible shield es otro mejor ya que si cubre el teclado, es del mismo material pero mas completo saludos si te interesa contatame por mensake privado
