I think this game shouldn't be compared to anything except the fact that it is a collaboration of very creative and artistic minds that have assembled a beautiful and exciting game.

If you've noticed all of the GOW's endup to a explosion of some sort. Ares in GOW 1, Athena in GOW 2 and Zeus in GOW 3. This particular story is ripe with some of the most descriptive passages of what an actual "hell" would look like. I am not religious by any means, but this game had me hooked from start to finish. If it makes me not want to sleep, I'll play a game based on pagan turtles.

If we analyze both stories, Dante's Inferno is much more interesting. frankly, the GoW3 story was what everybody predicted, kratos will kill Zeus and all the other gods. and that's all. instead on Dante's Inferno, where Dante is a real man that is capable of dealing with demons and hellish beings only for love, and what really impresses is that Dante reaches deal to Lucifer, that to me is an interesting story and not the cliche of a conceited mortal who tries to kill zeus.
God of war is an amazing game, and this game was BASED on it, so for all those geniuses that noticed the similarities between the two games, good work stating the obvious...

Base on what I see here, the ps3 version looks better than the 360 version (I have the 360 version demo). So far, I prefer this storyline to GOW, considering I'm not too into Greek mythology, but I would like to try both this and GOW3.
I love it how ppl are getting their panties in a bunch over how a game is "copying" another. You play a game for the story, graphics, and the challenge, who cares if it's similar in the fighting style to God of War? I'd rather have a familiar control of the character than one that's just different and confusing because they didn't want to "copy".

Base on what I see here, the ps3 version looks better than the 360 version (I have the 360 version demo). So far, I prefer this storyline to GOW, considering I'm not too into Greek mythology, but I would like to try both this and GOW3.

I love it how ppl are getting their panties in a bunch over how a game is "copying" another. You play a game for the story, graphics, and the challenge, who cares if it's similar in the fighting style to God of War? I'd rather have a familiar control of the character than one that's just different and confusing because they didn't want to "copy".
