does anyone else think the intro of this sounds incrediably like the lon lon ranch theme from legend of zelda ocorina of time? i just started to listen to this album today...and this freaked me out, search lon lon ranch an see for yourself...
yo no se por que mierda la gente entra a bardear si no les gusta gilmour no miren el video, miren sus videitos de waters y no rompan las pelotas loco...
es hermosa esta cancion, ojala algun dia pueda verlo en vivo
whatever you all think or say, I love David & his solo work.. love his voice oh so amazing.. and his guitar simply mindblowing.. thanks you, David.. if you say 'smile' I say 'sure' and 'hugs' Helena
What's interresting to me is that Waters and Gilmour both made brilliant songs in Pink Floyd, but when Floyd split up, Gilmour continued making brilliant songs, but Waters started making crap. That's ofcourse only my opinion. I think it's greate that David has transformed somehow. His solo stuff is amazing, and he doesn't try to make it sound like Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd is Pink Floyd, and Gilmour's solo is Gilmour's solo. And that's the way it should be.
This is a great song and was written a long while before 'On An Island'. In all honesty it's my least favourite on the album. It's a very personal song I feel but still very beautiful in it's own way.
Beautiful!

I agree; I love how he doesn't feel any pressure whatsoever to sound like Pink Floyd.

I've heard this once before, on Remember That Night, and I really like the song. Sounds like early Floyd to me (like A Pillow of Winds).

Or Set Controls to the Heart of the Sun? Nope, suprisingly this was after Pink Floyd broke up. David Gilmour is an amazing musician.

I hope this isn't a flash in the pan just to promote the new CD/DVD. It would be nice to see regular contributions.
