It really depends on what kind of movies u enjoy. This movie reminded me of Down w/ Love. Maybe you've seen it. There were parts where the whole audience was laughing; it has some quality humor...all main 3 characters r likeable, esp. the chemistry between Clooney & Zelwigers's characters. I actually think it would be perfect for a date movie 4 this reason. I also heard that the Bank Job & Run Fat Boy Run were both pretty good movies...hope that helps..probably not..well, good luch w/ ur date!

I liked it too, but for the stories not fully develop by the film. The irony that $2.00 bought tickets, program, and more in 1925 while now it costs $20.00-$30.00 at least is shocking. The reference to sports and media manipulation corruption is great, I loved the line by the Rutherford character: "There is always baseball". The bar scene featuring the players and veterans as they sing the Yanks are Coming is historically tragic. The Yanks went to war in 1916 and never came home, didn't they?.
