came home a week ago from a two week holiday in disney world, stayed in this hotel and it was lovely. Did not want the holiday to end!

We wanted Caribbean Beach because we have stayed there the last few years and really enjoy it but because of the free dining right now, it was all booked for February 2011. We decided to go with FQ because I have wanted to stay there for a while.

@iMusely i like this one better because the riverside is really stretched out and only has one pool :P but no matter where you stay at the french quarters you are in walking distance to everything! (bus stops, cafeteria, pool, boat stops, ect.)

i live in the New Orleans and the disney cast did a great job of recreating the french quarter THUMBS UP :)

We were there first week in April 2011. We loved it and our maid Maria was fantastic. Best stay we've had at Disney. I did a college intern at disney in the mid nineties and have always loved going back to see old friends.

rooms the exact same layout exactly as Pop Century only different bedcovers etc - is it worth paying so much more money for different atmosphere ????

One of my fave parts was the effect where you got Naveen and Tiana in their frog form to be floating in the lilly pads on the pool. Adds to the feeling, I'd say.

Stayed there from Dec 27 1999 to Jan 2nd 2000 and it was great, had an a-joining room with my aunt,uncle and two cousins... Only downfall was that the pool was closed everyday at random points for kids pooping in the pool.. some kids found this funny and then started to drop chocolate bars into the pool.

Thank you for the enjoyable video. We are planning a Walt Disney World vacation in October and plan on staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. I've seen every video on YouTube about the resort and this is the best one I've seen.

In Sassagoule I ate the best mickey waffles with cinnamon apple of my life!!!!
