I'd say the live version is definitely better. But it's good to hear what it originally sounded like-- to me this seems like a sort of rough draft. All the great, basic elements are there, it's just not executed as well (or in the Knife's newer, more distinctive style). Older songs of theirs like this are the seeds of genius!

Also, if you're going to be pedantic about spelling, you should probably structure your sentence properly. There should be a comma after your opening word, the 's' at the end of Communist is completely irrelevant and finally, nice choice of the word 'narcotic' instead of simply the word that the original poster used (drug) - it truly displays what a pretentious prick you probably are
