Chattur'gha seems like a guy I can really get behind. While most of these guys think a "physical presence" means having a local cult run by crazy people who can't even outsmart the feds, Chattur'gha is like, gonna cut you in half with his big ass claws.

Kinda what I liked about Cthugha. No real cult or anything, all you had to do was call him and he would kill Nyarlathotep for you by setting the whole damn forest on fire.

I suspect the similarity with the names was intentional.

Not that it is going to mean much in the end, but the description of Xel'lotath and Chattur'gha really needs some work, since contrary to popular belief, an all powerful being cannot actually defeat an all-knowing being. To be exact, they'd be in an eternal stalemate, since an all Powerful being may have all the power there could ever be in existance, but his power won't mean anything if his attacks never connect with the enemy, and while an all-knowing creature won't defeat an all-powerful...

@tehgamer1 The whole idea is Chattur'gha represents matter, Xel'lotath insanity, and Ulyaoth mind. Xel defeated Ulyaoth because insanity can overcome the mind. Ulyaoth defeated Chattur'gha because of mind over matter, and the fact that he's smarter. Chattur'gha defeated Xel because insanity can't really overcome something that relies on brute strength over brains.

So it isn't mind over matter in this case; that's Ulyaoth vs. Chattur'gha.

It's just like rock, paper, scissors. Chattur'gha is the rock, Xel'lotath is the scissors, and Ulyaoth is the paper. Rock = brute force and strength. Scissor = cuts your mind into shreds and drives you insane. Paper = where all knowledge, intelligence and ideas are written on. This is my interpretation of the ancients and how they relate to the rock, paper, scissor effect. Mantorock, however is the outside force that basically controls everything.
