@crystoyu ...sorry to break it to you but this is a REAL video produced, directed and editied by my husband, Ken Rose. Not some fan-made video. This was a serious tribute to Rob Harris, the world champion sky surfer that tragically passed away December 1995, prior to the recording of this album. Alan decided to dedicate the song to Rob's family in tribute to his talent, because Ken cut the demo to give to Rob's family. When Alan saw it they decided to release it. Thanks, Elizabeth Rose
I think that last fart was solid...later APP stuff sounds like it should be in the movie Bloodsport. I flat out loved and own all APP albums until the early 90s stuff. I think I just crapped myself agian.
Alan Parsons is a musical genius! Been a fan since 'Tales of Mystery and Imagination' was released back in '76. On Air is one of my favorite albums. Thanks for sharing this video! RIP Rob Harris ; (
guitar a weakness???? What?? U kidding arent ya? Its actually one of the trademarks in the AP(P) sound, as a matter of fact they started to suck once Ian left
well, ok... I m respecting ur opinion, but ,how strange: so, really dont you like guitar parts in tracks such as "same old sun" "freudiana (the song", "the raven" (1987 version") "So far away" just to name a small bunch amongst plenty?
I can only say I disagree with you. The video clips are not the songs but the guitar licks bring out and compliment the rest of the music bringing something to each song APP has ever written.
i've been searching for this song. I didn't remember the name. I saw in a propaganda many years ago. I thought it was Asia , but now I found it. It seems like those hollywood's cigar propagandas.
A fine job. Alan Parson fans have the greatest musical tastes in the world. Of course, I am just a little biased. I believe the man is a genius. It is fantastic to see almost all his albums represented on youtube in some way. I am waiting for someone to sit down and put together a video of "Oh Life (There Must Be Something More)" It would be a challege, but a beautiful, sad piece of music would be available for many people to enjoy on here. "Mr. Time" is another fine song. Thank you.
I've been looking for Oh Life for awhile and never found it. I've like to put it on youtube but I just don't know what to do with it. Fantastic piece of music ofcourse.
I apologize for not saying those two songs are from the "Try Anything Once Album". It would be great just to have the audio, if not a video. "Oh Life", and "Mr. Time" are two numbers that many people have not heard, but I think once they did, people would flock to hear them. "Oh Life" is gut wrenching, but beautiful and "Mr. Time" is thought provoking. As I said, I AM biased and make no pretense about it, but I would love to see everything he has done posted on youtube. He is a genius.
oh life... is on youtube, perhaps when you wrote requesting it on youtube it was not created, i think it's a fan created video, it's one of the best songs from any alan parsons project or alan parsons recordings, also read the responses excluding my own, very thoughtful and intelligent.
I loved the cover notes in this album/CD set... this song... and Brother up in Heaven are dedicated to the individuals who were close friends/relatives of the band... that died. Kinda sad really... but great songs.

I am a fan; but videoclips and guitars remain the group's main weaknesses.
This is a good song from a weak album.

No I'm serious their "weak instrument" is the guitar.
That's my opinion.

Two of my favorite Alan Parsons "solo" tracks you just named there! Have you heard his new single "All Our Yesterdays" yet?

Rob Harris died in 1994 filming a Seven-Up commercial. The band has dedicated this song to him...
