  • Good gravy, that's a LOT of pumping! You can have your keyboard practice and bicycle workout at the same time!

    Seriously, your bellows are leaking.

  • It's a beautiful harmonium! Very compact...

  • @PPkolombo Thanks a lopt, a little belgian one, but I like it a lot :)

  • @PPkolombo I think it's the more little of my collection. For now :)

  • I have also a reed organ. When i bought it, i needed to pump as much as you do. That's not normal. Your bellow is leaking...

consider taking it to a restaurer. You will find that once you bellow doesn't leak any more you have to pump very little anymore.

  • Thank you sir. It already has been repaired since that video. In fact, I repaired some 15 of them :)

    Have a nice week !

  • Ah ah ah _ Thanks _

  • It thought it sounded pretty good.

  • Muchas gracias ! Es un buena idea :) I will try to play one !

  • this is funny, lol

  • Thanks for your indulgency. The keyboard is not very reactive, and the Toccata is not my best song ever, ah ah ah ! Have a nice day, from Belgium, Bob.

  • yeah mec tu geres !

  • I could imagine what the organ pumpers went through in Bach's day. This piece was written to test the bellows.

  • Ah ah ah ! Perhaps ! In fact, it needs a lot of air even if it's a little instrument... But it's getting better now !

  • ^-^ Great!!

  • Yipee, I have a new fan :) Go on my Youtube page, and on my blog, you will see other instruments of this kind.

  • Very creative! I did the same thing with a 1911 Estey reed organ in my home over 30 years ago. I also supplied the power for the bellows with my feet.

  • Thanks a lot ! The pumping is indeed very physic ! Do you have your reed-organ yet or is he 'dead' ?

  • I sold the 1911 Estey, then bought a 1920 Estey about ten years ago. When I moved from the Washington DC area two years ago, I sold my reed organ to a friend. I miss the unique sound (and the physical activity)!
