  • FINALLY.....a wing that is functional on a honda!!!!!!

  • Now we'll have indians flying slow.

  • Honda is the best^^

  • Just found my new swap

  • Glad GM doesnt build airplanes, they cant even manage to put brake pads in 5000 Chevy Sonics.

  • The music is almost as good as the Samsung auto turret music

  • Now I wonder if BMW and Toyota will come out with their own jets..

  • Now for a HKS exhaust system and to swap for a H22 and it will beat Learjet in the 1000 mile :D

  • damn those two engines are loud

  • will it blend?

  • if the wing broke of while flying over Japan wont it kinda look like a missle. WW3. jk.lol

  • Guys..pls.. Stop your childish VTEC/Type R jokes. This is really annoying and not that funny that you have to repeat it like for a million times. My respect to Honda engineers! Hope you will sell this bird worldwide!

  • OH YEAH, VTEC JET ENGINE !!!

  • cool aircraft! got to love that gay music.

  • Very cool for Honda, but comeon.. this aircraft is not exactly pretty..

  • The gear retracts fine, and has retracted in subsequent flights. It is normal , and in this case, requirement, to leave gear down during a first flight. Leaving the gear down is not unsafe...

  • So much for all the "FleaTec" and "Hype-R" jokes. Honda really shut'em up with this one. They say that the best form of revenge, is Massive Success.

Congratulations on pressing forward with the FAA Type Certification process Honda. I know how much of the pain in the rear that ordeal can be. I look forward to seeing this jet on U.S. flight lines all over the country. She's gorgeous!

Now, increase the range to 2,500 nautical miles and you will have an instant customer in me personally. ;)

  • I had trouble putting on the cold air intake...dam MAF

  • It looks like a flying Narwhal

  • the "Narwhal nose" is only fitted for testing - it contains extra sensors etc

  • Can I get this w/ 3.9% financing?

  • that VTEC HIT HARD

  • so what series jet engine is this? B, K, F? just hope to god i don't have to see one lowered with a "Powered By Honda" sticker anytime soon!

  • will the powerplant be a direct swap for a civic or will i need custom mounts?

  • hahaha nice tail number....now we know what the secret is over there at honda

    n420hj

  • Landing gear isn't generally tested during first flight. What a beautiful aircraft. Congrats to Honda.

  • The Power of Dreams

  • nice

  • Vtec man! XD

  • VTEC kicks in @0:50 yo!

  • The pilot forgot to pull up the wheels. See at 1:15, not very safe.

  • @sillieww don't worry, he remembered about the wheels, it's a test flight

  • @sillieww ...they actually leave them up because it is more safe. nice try tho

  • They left F1 for this!

  • when will Mugen work on it?

  • Looking good! Congrats Honda team!

  • an Accord with wings.....

  • Forget the K series, I think I am seeing the future for engine swaps. ;-P

  • ProtectingAfrica - We all pay for our choices, and in your case, that will be a very high price, indeed.

  • VERY FAST!

  • congratulation, enorabuena HONDA, see you in Spain!!!! xao!!!

  • The power of dream at it's best!!! Great work Honda... Next step, SPACE!!!!! I love my Honda...

  • To those who don't know, look up Ford tri-moter, built when Honda was a maker of goat powerd carts.

  • @dessnamoto

GTFO. this is 2011 not 1920

  • Unfortunately Japan is under the USA which mean, this great project will benefit the USA and the USA will be using money generated from the sell of these aircraft to terrorize in Africa and elsewhere. Will even be using these aircraft to come and do medical experiment like they have been doing for centuries in Africa. We call the anti-USA movement of Japan to take power and evict that evil country occupation that last since butchering Japanese with their nuclear attack.

  • yeah! For all those muscle heads who say honda makes lawn mowers, well now we make JETS too! Lets see a Ford do that!

  • epic

  • all motor!!

  • awesome. been tracking this since concept. glad to see it taking its first FAA-Conforming flight. beautifully done!!! power of dreams FTW! congratulations~

  • are they guna make a type R model?

  • was waiting for the gear to retract and afterburners light up for mach 2 blue thunder style

  • @ricochetVendetta afterburners dont come in till VTEC is engaged lol

  • So...um, what's with the music? Congrats on your first FAA-Conforming flight!

  • VTEC Jet plane FTW !

  • you caqn hear VTEC in 0:59!!

  • I guess the landing gears are still in development since they don't appear to retract during flight...

  • @rasredge They probably work, its just a habit that on the first flight they fly with gear down, some longer range aircraft like the A380 did pull the gear up during the maiden flight but they seem so avoid it as much as possible.

  • whats the thing sticking out in front

  • @desimunda116 it's called a pitot tube which measures the air speed / pressure etc etc.

  • I love Honda. 2002 XR650R, 2002 Honda Civic LX they have never let me down.

    Cool Jet.

  • wish i could afford one of those

  • Jet power a Goldwing please!

  • Nice one!

  • Wait till VTEC kicks in.

  • @vietkid20062007 It'll be faster than a F22!!

  • @alexlam24 Lol, but will probably get shot down by an F22!

  • Great looking aircraft. Congrats Honda!
