  • rocking your elbows back and forth takes the bicep muscle out of it, and brings in the front delts. sure, you'll be able to lift more, but by cheating

  • @jeremiehernandez1 thats actually not that heavy for anyone who has lifted for about a year and is doing it right. this is more than likely his warm up weight or demo weight

  • @hiprobhop well it is a reason why it is called cheat curls.. they do em when they lift very heavy weights. it is good for mass building in the arm.

  • i thought barbell curls are bad for your wrists and its best to use the z bar, is that true?

  • @BigPapaPump9 Not that bad for wrists, and EZcurl bars smaller amount of contraction.

  • @BigPapaPump9 No because using a supinated grip (necessary for a straight bar) will build larger forearms. If your wrists hurt use wrist straps, or check your grip.

  • Sick traps...intimidating 

  • rgmcall- When you do a full bicep curl you have no choice but to use shoulder flexsion due to the bicep running under the anterior delt and its origin being at the coracoid process of the scapula. It dont take anything away from the bicep during the exercise as for its mainly still elbow flexion and as he said its to work the peak.

  • his form looks weird hes moving at his shoulder joint as well as his elbow shouldn't barbell curls just move at the elbow since its an isolation exercise

  • @rgmcall he is specifically instructing to keep the elbows slightly in front. i don't get it. what's good form? that works yr muscles or that matches with some exercise aesthetic you hv in mind?
